    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher that washes dishes without using any detergent. SOLUTION: The dishwasher 1 has a washing tank 6 wherein water is fed through a first water supply channel 44 and sprays the detergent pooled inside the washing tank 6 onto the dishes placed inside the washing tank 6. An electrolysis unit 30 that forms electrolytic water by electrolyzing the water is connected with a second water supply channel 45 that is connected to an external water supply facility and is linked to the washing tank 6 through a communicating channel 46. Clean water from outside is supplied to an electrolysis vessel 31 of the electrolysis unit 30 to prevent any risk of scraps of food intruding. The electrolysis vessel 31 is filled with water while mixing electrolysis accelerator to the water by a mixing unit 52. The pooled water is electrolyzed to provide concentrated electrolytic water, which is used while diluted. While the electrolytic water is being generated, the dishes are pre-washed and the dirt is evacuated. In the subsequent washing process, the dishes are washed using the electrolytic water to obtain high washing capability.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical washing machine capable of reusing drain water.
      SOLUTION: Water stored in an outer tub 5 in a washing process and a rinsing process is guided to a water storage tank 17 when the water is drained from the outer tub 5. The water stored in the water storage tank 17 is electrolyzed by the current application to an anode 19 and a cathode 20, and organic substances are precipitated in the bottom of the water storage tank 17. The precipitated organic substances are floated and separated with micro-bubbles by feeding micro-bubbles into the water in the water storage tank 17 from the micro-bubble generating device 40. The water (treated water) in the water storage tank 17 after the organic substances are floated/separated is fed into the outer tub 5 through a treated water suction pipe 32 and a water supply pipe 9 to be reused.
