The inlet-side hose 72 of a circulation mechanism 70 is connected to a drain valve 53 protrusively provided on the outer bottom surface of the washing tub 2. The detergent left without dissolving in the washing tub 2 flows into the drain valve 53. The water collected in the drain valve 53 is circulated into the washing tub 2 by the circulation mechanism 70, whereby the detergent left without dissolving can be dissolved. Accordingly, the detergent can be effectively used to improve the washing performance.
