摘要： A tilting supporting arrangement for an outboard drive unit that permits it to be pivoted from a normal running position to a tilted up position. A tilt stop mechanism is provided for holding the unit in its tilted up position and a tilt locking mechanism is provided for holding the unit in its tilted down position. Each of the tilt stop and tilt locking mechanisms is movable between and operative position for retaining the drive unit in the respective position and released positions. The tilt locking mechanism and tilt stop mechanism are oriented in such a way that when the tilt stop mechanism is moved to its operative position and the drive unit is tilted up, the tilt locking mechanism will automatically be operated to its operative position.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a tilt stopper into compactification in structure, by connecting a cranklike coupling part to a fulcrum shaft of a stop lever, and also connecting a spring to a crank part. A tension spring 27 is installed interposingly between the spring receiving part 26 installed in the swivel bracket 14 and the crank part 25 of the cranklike coupling part 20.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an impeller from inclination and its boss portion from intrusion of foreign matters by providing upper and lower ends of the boss portion of impeller with annular lips and making seal portions on inner periphery of both ends of the boss portion bear against the outer surface of a drive shaft and further ribs contact with resiliently the drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:Since annular lips 38, 39 are provided on upper and lower ends of a boss portion 32 of an impellet 30, foreign matters are blocked by these lips 38, 39 to reduce an amount of their intrusion into the interior of the boss portion 32. Also since seal portions 43, 44 formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of both ends 30a, 30b of boss portion 32 bear against the outer surface of a drive shaft 8, the interior of the boss portion 32 is prevented from the intrusion of foreign matters. Further, since ribs 45... are provided to resiliently contact with the drive shaft 8, the impellet 30 is not inclined with respect to the drive saft 8, and slide of inside surface of pump chamber on the lips 38, 39 and resilient contact between the seal portions 43, 44 and drive shaft 8 are ensured so that the interior of the both portion 32 can be prevented from the intrusion of foreign matters.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the water settled inside a tank from flowing out to the engine side, by providing a drainage port at a part lower than the liquid take- out port of the tank body, and further by connecting a draining means to this drainage port. CONSTITUTION:In a lubricating oil tank 19, a drainage port 35 is provided at a part which is, under an ordinary setup condition of the tank body 20, lower than the lubricating oil take-out port 25. And, to this drainage port 35, one end of a drainage pipe 36 is connected, and to the other end of the drainage pipe 36, a hand drainage pump 37 is connected. Accordingly, the water settled inside the tank body 20 does not flow out to the engine side, unless it reaches the installation level of the lubricating oil take-out port 25. Further, the water settled inside the tank body 20 can be securely discharged through the drainage port 35 by the operation of the drainage pump 37.
