    • PURPOSE: To eliminate the drop of the output due to the leakage of the jet flow by providing a movable pipe to be turned by the steering on a rear part of a fixed pipe to eject the water jet flow by the rotation of a propeller, and providing a water jet flow leakage preventing member therebetween. CONSTITUTION: A trim ring 22 is fitted to a rear part of a downstream pipe 21b (nozzle pipe) in a vertically turnable manner by bolts 22a, 22b extended in the horizontal direction. A deflector nozzle 23 is fitted to the trim ring 22 turnably in the right-to-left direction to the water level by bolts 23a, 23b extending in the vertical direction. An annular leakage preventing member 25 formed of the elastic material is provided on the trim ring 22. When the deflector nozzle 23 is turned in the vertical or right-to-left direction by the handle operation, the leakage preventing member 25 is pressed to keep the inner surface of the deflector nozzle 23 watertight at a part in which a part of the water jet flows reversely to possibly cause the leakage from the clearance between the deflector nozzle 23 and the trim ring 22.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a screen to sufficiently withstand water pressure in sucking of water into a suction port by action of a water injection unit, when the screen for covering the suction port formed on a bottom plate of a hull, and also to enable propulsion performance of the water injection unit to be maintained well. CONSTITUTION:Water 30 sucked into a water jet duct 18 of a water injection unit is injected backward from a hall 3 through a suction port 19 of a bottom plate 5 of the hall 3, so as to advance this hull 3. A screen 49 for covering the suction port from the lower part of the hull 3 is provided. This screen 49 is composed of a plurality of longitudinally extended rod-like bodies 52, a front plate 50 for connecting the front ends of these rod-like bodies 52 to one another, and a rear plate 51 for connecting the rear ends of the rod-like bodies 52 to one another. The right and left both sides of the screen 49 are clamped to the hull 3 at the right and left sides near the rear ends of the rod- like bodies 52.

    • PURPOSE:To improve durability of thin projections of a buffer body which is arranged between a driving side rotary body and a driven side rotary body, and provided with a boss, thick projections and thin projections spirally formed from the boss. CONSTITUTION:Engagement projections 45, 45 respectively of a driving side rotary body 38 and a driven side rotary body 39 are meshed with each other on the same axial center 40. A buffer body 46 is composed of a boss formed on the axial center 40, thick projections 48 and thin projections 49 spirally formed from the boss. Large diameter arcuate projected surfaces 49a are formed on front and rear ends of the thin projection 49 in a circumferential direction of the axial center 40. Large diameter arcuate recessed surfaces 45b to which large diameter arcuate projected surfaces 49a of the thin projection 49 are fitted are formed on a rear surface in a rotational direction of the engagement projection 45 of the driving side rotary body 38, and on a front surface in a rotational direction of the engagement projection 45 of the driven side rotary body 39.
