摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst which maintains its high ozone decomposing power even in the coexistence of corrosive compounds including nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides by constituting the catalyst with at least a compound selected from TiO2, ZrO2, SnO2, SiO2, V2O5, WO3, and MoO3. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst is used at a reaction temperature of 75 deg.C or higher to treat ozone in a gas in which such corrosive gases as nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides are contained. The catalyst is constituted with at least one compound selected from Ti02, ZrO2, SnO2, SiO2, V2O5, WO3, and MoO3. With the catalyst, ozone in a gas containing corrosive gases including nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides can be removed effectively.

The catalyst thus obtained demonstrates a high activity in the decomposition of ammonia, because the selective reduction reaction of NOX is generated by ammonia by deposition of an NOX source on the catalyst.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently remove odorous components with almost none of residual ozone by decomposing oxidatively the odorous components by ozone in the presence of the catalytic filter consisting of the corrugate structure which is formed by using common paper, etc., and coated with the material compounded with SiO2, etc., and deodorizing catalyst, etc., in specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The material which is compounded in 1:(0.1-10) ratio by weight on dry base from at least >=1 selected among SiO2, Al2O3 and TiO2 and the ozone deodorizing catalyst (e.g. MnO2) and/or activated carbon is applied on the corrugate structure which is formed by using common paper, kraft paper and the base paper of a corrugated fiber board. The component having odor is oxidatively decomposed by ozone in the presence of the obtaind catalytic filter. And the catalytic filter in which at least >=1 selected among SiO2, Al2O3 and TiO2 presents a sol state in the slurry is used. The deodorizing filter is low in pressure drop and excellent in fire retardancy.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a honeycomb catalyst consisting essentially of a spent manganese used for deodorization into the catalyst free from malodor itself by giving a substantially initial high ozone decomposition activity to the honeycomb catalyst by ozone. SOLUTION: In this method for regenerating the honeycomb catalyst consisting essentially of manganese lowered in the activity by being used for the deodorization by ozone and sticking and accumulating organic materials thereon, plural honeycomb catalysts are loaded in a regenerating furnace provided with an air inlet and outlet so that through holes of each honeycomb catalyst is vertical to the air flow in the regenerating furnace and the honeycomb catalysts have gaps mutually therebetween and the organic material are vaporized and volatilized by heating air at a heating rate of 15-50 deg.C/hr up to a final regenerating temp. of 150-350 deg.C, preferably 180-250 deg.C while supplying at 3-20 m/sec linear velocity in the gap between the honeycomb catalysts to the regenerating furnace and heating the catalyst by the heated air for a time sufficient to recover the activity of the honeycomb catalyst at the temp.

This catalyst support can be obtained by forming such a heat resistant paper in a corrugation-like structure.
