    • PURPOSE:To enhance productivity and the stability of quality by a method wherein a sheet like article is once passed through a rubbing processing machine and a gripping machine to be turned in its direction and a passing position is changed to again feed back the sheet like article to the same rubbing processing machine or gripping machine. CONSTITUTION:The center positions of gripping machines C1, C2 are shiftered and the intervals between the movable grippers 14b, 14c and 16b, 16c of position fixed gripping devices 14a, 16a are made narrow by operating an air cylinder 15 to hold a sheet like article. Driving force is transmitted by a connection shaft 11 and the crank shaft 13 present at an eccentric position in a connector 12 and the gripping machines C1, C2 are rubbed like hand rubbing in the same direction in such a state that the center positions thereof are shifted. In the same gripping machine, one of the grippers is used in the initial feed of the sheet like article and the other one holds a processed product. Since the sheet like article generates 'the shift in the lateral direction' or 'overlapping' with the elapse of time in a rubbing processing machine 3 or in the vicinity thereof, each gripping machine is reversely operated in order to correct this state.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the creasing, process make the surface of a product uneven and develop unique design and contrive to diversify decoration by a method wherein the material concerned are made of opaque base material, light reflecting layer made intermediately and transparent uppermost layer and at least one of them is made of material, which easily produces permanent strain by creasing. CONSTITUTION:Plastic-based sheet-like material concerned consists of multi-layer film materials or opaque layer, which consists of sheet-like material made of plastic films, papers or fibers, layer made of light reflecting material and highly transparent plastic film, all of which are produced in the order named. Bending, folding and creasing are applied to the above-mentioned material so as to randomly produce uneven portion having creases, which have long or short and wide or narrow actue-angled ruggedness. By creasing, the ruggedness has acute angle and the creasing intervals are narrow and the creasing lengths are complicated and random, and grain texture in glass panel, stained glass-like state or marbled state is produced. Or prism-like state such as the generation of peculiar fringes is produced, large light interference and diffraction can be observed according as the constitutional material.

    • PURPOSE:To apply stable crease having steric feeling to a base material composed of woven or knit cloth, etc., by applying an adhesive layer to the base material, laminating an inorganic film or organic film, etc., and subjecting the laminate to flexing or bending treatment under a condition corresponding to the glass transition temperature of the adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A polymeric adhesive (e.g., vinyl adhesive or acrylic adhesive) is scattered on a base material composed of a woven or knit cloth or a fiber sheet produced by raising the cloth to form a sporadic or continuous adhesive layer. An inorganic film (e.g., aluminum foil), an organic film (e.g., plastic film) or a sheet is laminated on the above adhesive layer with or without pressing and the laminate is, e.g., melted with heat to obtain a laminated composite sheet material. The sheet material is creased by creasing process with a creasing machine and cooled below the glass transition temperature of the adhesive to set the crease and form a permanent crease deeply intruding in the adhesive layer in contrast with conventional embossing process in which the crease is limited on the surface layer. The product is suitable as a material for clothes, bags, footwears, etc.
