    • PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device and to secure the conveyance stability of a recording medium by setting the diameter of a drum-shaped latent image carrier to 10-40mm, setting the conveyance path from a paper feed part of the recording medium to a paper discharge part almost linearly and providing a 1st toner recovery part above the conveyance path and a 2nd toner recovery part below it. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of the drum-shaped latent image carrier 10 is determined between 10 and 40mm and the conveyance path LOP from the part 17 for feeding the recording medium S to the latent image carrier 10 to the paper discharging part 23 is set almost linearly. Then the 1st toner recovery part 11 is provided above the conveyance path LOP and the 2nd toner recovery part 19 is provided below the conveyance path LOP. For the purpose, the latent image carrier is reduced in diameter to separate the recording medium from the image carrier with the elastic force the recording medium itself has, thereby eliminating the need for a separating device. Further, the conveyance path from the paper feeding part to the paper discharging part is set almost linearly and the 1st and 2nd toner recovery parts are arranged above and below the conveyance path, so the movement of the recording medium is never impeded. Consequently, the device is miniaturized and the conveyance stability of the recording medium is secured.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to accelerate the regeneration speed of an ink sheet, by adhering powdery ink to an ink layer by electrostatic force receiving from the electric field between an electrodepositing electrode and an opposed electrode and fixing the same to a base layer under pressure and heating. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet 1 passes between an electrodepositing electrode 9 and an opposed electrode sleeve 14 and enters between pressing and heating rollers 13, 13. A voltage applying circuit 18 is connected to the opposed electrode sleeve 14 and an electric field is formed between the electrodepositing electrode 9 and the opposed electrode sleeve 14 by voltage applying circuits 11, 18. Powdery ink 17 is adhered to the omitted part of the ink layer 1b of the ink sheet 1 by the approach to the ink support 1a thereof. The ink sheet 1 is inserted into the nip between the pressing and heating rollers 13, 13 which, in turn, apply predetermined pressure and heat to the powdery ink 17 of the omitted part 1c of the ink layer 1b to fix the same to the ink support 1a through plastic deformation. By this mechanism, the acceleration of the regeneration speed of the ink sheet is achieved.
