摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code information processor which actualizes the improvement of recording precision of two-dimensional code information and the suppression of a read error, and further the improvement of operability by accurately detecting the position of a recording medium when the recording medium is conveyed. SOLUTION: Installed are a plurality of conveying means (2, 3) for conveying the recording medium (1) of the same size with a credit card which has code information recorded, a detecting means A (10) which has a write optical system recording the code information, a read optical system reading the recorded code information, and an insertion slot (16) where the recording medium (1) is inserted and detects the recording medium (1) being present in the direction to the insertion slot side viewed from the conveying means A (2) closest to the insertion slot (16), and a detecting means B (11) which detects the recording medium (1) being present at the position on the opposite side from the insertion slot (16) when viewed from the conveying means A (2) a specific quantity distant from the position where the code information is written or read in the direction of the insertion slot (16) and closest to the insertion slot (16).
