    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a costless expansible joint device by which trains can safely travel to prevent wheels from entering from a position lacking in a gauge line of the expansible joint of railroad rails and from running on to the rails and by which the longitudinal distance of the ends of the forward and rearward rails can be shortened and further, easily carry out installation works and maintenance works without installing equipment such as guide rails. SOLUTION: The joint thin end 1' of a forward rail end 1 and the joint thin end 2' of a rearward rail end 2 are formed parallelly to the longitudinal direction of rails respectively. The joint thin ends 1', 2' are put parallelly to the longitudinal direction of the rails and closely to each other to form an expansible joint 3. One end of a guide plate 5 guiding a wheel to a gauge line (a) is fixed to the end 2 of the rearward rail. The guide plate 5 is installed in a position (b) lacking in a gauge line of the expansible joint 3 in a state that the rail ends 1, 2 are expansibly or contractibly transferable in the longitudinal direction of the rails so that the other end of the guide plate 5 and the joint thin ends 1', 2' are pinched loose by rail presses 8, 8'.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track component member moving device which can safely remove track component members in a short time by a few workers, and can recover the same.
      SOLUTION: In operation of the track component member moving device, an adsorbing portion 16a is set on an upper surface of a switch guard 11 and adsorbs the same. After the adsorbing portion 16a is hooked by a hook portion 16d, a fastening member 13 is removed from the switch guard by the worker, and a hand chain 16f of a wind-up portion 16b is operated for rotation by the worker, whereby the switch guard 11 is lifted up to a predetermined height by a lifting portion 16. When the lifting portion 16 having the switch guard 11 kept lifted by the same, is slid along a guide portion 17 by the worker, a wheel 16h of the lifting portion 16 is rotatingly moved on a lower flange portion 17b of the guide portion 17. As a result, the switch guard 11 is removed to an area outside a work region of the worker, where maintenance inspection of a turnout 1 is carried out, and therefore the switch guard 11 is temporarily retreated from the turnout 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch guard which is easy to work, excellent in durability, and facilitates adjustment of a flangeway width, and to provide a mounting member therefor and a switch guard mounting structure.
      SOLUTION: A mounting portion 12b of the switch guard 12 has a flat surface 12i which is to be mounted on the mounting member 13, and a mounting portion 13a of the mounting member 13 has a convex surface 13d for mounting the flat surface 12i thereon. Therefore unlike a conventional switch guard, bending work is dispensed with, and the mounting position of the switch guard 12 can be easily changed. Further an adjusting washer 17 having a fastening bolt 15 attached thereto, can be inserted and mounted on the fastening bolt 15, and therefore the flangeway width W can be easily adjusted to a specified value. Furthermore, spherical surface portions 13c, 18a make contact with each other, and therefore even if the position of the switch guard 12 is changed, an eccentric load applied to the fastening bolt 15 can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch guard mounting structure which facilitates adjustment of a flangeway width, and contributes to reduction of power consumption.
      SOLUTION: According to the switch guard mounting structure, a fastening bolt 15 is a T-bolt having a T-shaped bolt head 15a, and the bolt head 15a is inserted into through holes 12d, 13b in a direction from a mounting member 13 toward a switch guard 12, as shown in the two-dot chain line, to thereby fasten the switch guard 12 and the mounting member 13 together. When the fastening bolt 15 is inserted into the through holes 12d, 13b and at the same time rotated about a bolt shaft, the bolt head 15a is hooked on a hook portion 12e. An indicator portion 15c functions to check a rotational position at which the bolt head 15a is hooked on the hook portion 12e, and is formed of a linear groove for checking a mounting direction. Further, fastening nuts 16a, 16b are mounted on a male screw portion 15b, functions to fasten the switch guard 12 to the mounting member 13, and has a detent function imparted thereto.
