    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means properly judging a corresponding mechanism in judgment of thin hair or unhairing due to mechanisms other than testosterone and taking a countermeasure for it.
      SOLUTION: The action to the hair of the test object is judged by using a cell cycle of a hair related cell with or without existence of the test object as an index. The cell cycle is discriminated according to a discovery condition of cyclins. As the cyclins, it is preferable to use cyclin A and/or cyclin D1. The expression conditions of the cyclins can be discriminated by using immunocytodyeing or flow cytometry.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal model for hypertrophic scar when screening medicines for hypertrophic scar.
      SOLUTION: The animal model for hypertrophic scar is produced by cutting a part of the skin of a rodent with a depth for cutting cutaneous muscle with a sufficient length to observe and breeding for 100 days. The rodent is preferably a rat and the rat is preferably a SD rat or a HWY hairless rat. The rat is applied to a test as a model after cut the cutaneous muscle and ensured that, monitoring the level of the hyperplasia with a replica of the treated position, the volume of the replica increases about 4 times of that of wound forming stage. The hypertrophic scar medicine can be evaluated by coating a specimen on a hypertrophic scar of a model animal for hypertrophic scar and observing decrease thereof.
