    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally select the physical channel of the optimal broadcasting.
      SOLUTION: In determining the optimal physical channel, viewing based on a reception result by a first antenna unit is secured, and a physical channel corresponding to a second antenna channel is successively switched to a plurality of physical channels for performing the same content broadcasting as that of the physical channel under viewing. Then, when the physical channel corresponding to the second antenna channel is matched with the physical channel under viewing, the receiving state related with the physical channel under viewing is collected on the basis of the reception results of all antennas belonging to the first or the second antenna units. On the other hand, when the physical channel corresponding to the second antenna unit is not matched with the physical channel under viewing, the reception state of the physical channel as the object of collection is collected on the basis of the reception result of the antenna belonging to the second antenna unit. Then, the optimal physical channel is determined on the basis of the collection result.

When a switching control section performs switching control from the MPEG2 decoder to an H264 decoder, the H264 decoder decodes access units in order from the latest IDR access unit stored in the information storage processing means and when a PTS judgment section judges a case where a presentation time indicated by the PTS comes later in the future rather than a decoding completion time, the H264 decoder completes synchronization processing and shifts to ordinary decoding processing.
