摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the carrying mechanism of a cassette and to attain consecutive reproduction and recording over two cassettes by setting a selected tape cassette to a tape driving section in a prescribed mode. CONSTITUTION:Tape cassettes A are inserted into respective guide grooves 5a of a tray base plate 5 and cases 14 holding the cassette A therebetween is inserted slidably into the grooves 5a. A pin 15 is inserted to each case 14 vertically and movably and when any pin 15 is depressed to release the movement block of the case 14 and a tray driving plate 6 is driven, the case 14 is moved. The cassettes A are carried to the loading position with the movement of the cases 14 and transferred to the carries at the position. Then the carry carries the cassette A, which is set to the tape driving mechanism.

CONSTITUTION:A recorded magnetic tape 12 is reproduced and amplified 2, and the reproduced signals are obtained from the output of a PLL 3 and are outputted through a decoder 4, a D/A 5, an LPF 6 and a buffer amplifier 7, whereby they are monitored. On the other hand, an ATF detection circuit 11 detects the ATF patterns in the reproduced signals and generates a pulse showing the start. A timing generation circuit 12 processes a detection time which the circuit 11 needs and a delay time (t) in a delay circuit 13 based on the pulse, generates the timing pulse in a period equivalent to pilot signals f1 in the ATF patterns and supplies them to a level control circuit 14. Said circuit 14 level-controls the recording level of the signals f1 for the timing pulse period and records them on a magnetic tape 10 through a recording amplifier 9. With this constitution, signals with adverse erasing characteristics such as the signals f1 can be recorded at a low level and speedy copy by direct recording can be executed.
