    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell separation device which can easily stratify without disarranging the interface of sample on stratification, and can prevent the mixing of a separated target substance to recover the target substance in good purity.SOLUTION: The cell separation device has the first container 11 having the first liquid-receiving portion 51, the second container 12 having the second liquid-receiving portion 52 and disposed under the first container 11, and a communication member 20 disposed between the first container 11 and the second container 12 and having the first needle 72 extended toward the first liquid-receiving portion 51 and the second needle 73 communicating with the first needle 72 and extended toward the second liquid-receiving portion 52. The cell separation device further has a switch mechanism 55 which can switch into a communication state for communicating the first liquid-receiving portion 51 with the second liquid-receiving portion 52 through the communication member 20 or into an interception state for intercepting the communication, by the approach of the first container 11 to the second container 12 or the separation of the first container 11 from the second container 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving tissue while keeping the tissue in a further good condition and, in particular, to provide a preservation method of tissue hardly influenced by preservation temperature.SOLUTION: This preservation method of tissue includes preserving of tissue in a tissue preservation liquid at 10-40°C while performing gas exchange of the tissue preservation liquid by photosynthesis by photosynthetic microorganisms. In the method, a culture solution including photosynthetic microorganisms and the tissue preservation liquid are joined to each other through a breathable sheet; oxygen produced by photosynthesis of the photosynthetic microorganisms moves into the tissue preservation liquid through the breathable sheet from the culture solution including the photosynthetic microorganisms; carbon dioxide included in the tissue preservation liquid moves into the culture solution including the photosynthetic microorganisms through the breathable sheet from the tissue preservation liquid; and thereby the gas exchange of the tissue preservation liquid is performed.
