    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fault of increasing excavation reaction force in a conventional unit for rotating a pair of excavating and agitating blades in the same direction.
      SOLUTION: In a multiple excavating and agitating blade drive unit installed at the lower end of an agitation rod of a proper length, two bearing shafts are supported in the lower part of the drive unit so that they are rotatable independently while their axis lines are in alignment with each other in a state where their one end part is protruded outside, and a motor is installed in the upper part of the drive unit. Excavating and agitating blades are fixed respectively to the outside protruding end parts of both bearing shafts so as to be rotatable vertically to the ground when the agitation rod is nearly vertical. A driven bevel gear is fixed to the inside of each bearing shaft, and a drive bevel gear is fixed to the output shaft of the motor. The drive bevel gear meshes with the two driven bevel gears to rotate both excavating and agitating blades in the direction opposite to each other.
