    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trench digger which can efficiently perform a trench digging operation. SOLUTION: The trench digger 1 is provided with an operating machine body 2 connected to a tractor. The operating machine body 2 is rotatably provided with a trench digging body 31 for excavating soil in a field by rotation to dig a trench. The operating machine body 2 is provided with a trench shaping body 33 which can move vertically for shaping the trench at the back in the traveling direction of the trench digging body 31. A gas spring 61, which is an energizing body for moving the trench shaping body 33 downward, is provided between the operating machine body 2 and the trench shaping body 33. While the trench digging body 31 digs the trench at a start position of the trench digging operation, it goes down to a predetermined position, whereby the trench shaping body 33 is pushed to move upward relative to the operating machine body 2.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of an agricultural work vehicle to facilitate the manual traveling operation of the working part.
      SOLUTION: A trench digger 1 is provided with an attaching part 10 to be attached to the rear part of a traveling body 90, a movable offset mechanism 20 placed at a side of the traveling body 90 and attached to the attaching part, and a working part 50 placed at the rear end of the offset mechanism in a horizontally rotatable manner and performing the trench digging work. The offset mechanism 20 has a hitch frame 11, an upper swing arm 21, a lower swing arm 22, an offset arm 27 and a rear arm 24 to form a parallel link mechanism. The working part 50 has a frame part 51 extending sideways from a supporting shaft 35 attached to the rear arm 24. The upper swing arm 21 and the frame part 51 function as strength members, and the power transmission mechanism part for these members is placed independent of the upper swing arm 21 and the frame part 51. The working part 50 can be moved to a desired work position by the displacement of the offset mechanism 20 and the rotation of the frame part 51.
