    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the generation of NOx and prevent the generation of backfire or noise by a method wherein a plurality of cylindrical recesses are formed on a cylindrical inner peripheral wall while the peripheral wall is provided with a plurality of burner ports. SOLUTION: An up-and-down through space 1 is formed in a horizontal annular burner 2 while a plurality of cylindrical recesses 4 are formed on the cylindrical inner peripheral wall 3 of the burner 2. Slit type burner ports 5 are provided on the peripheral wall of the recesses 4 while respective recesses 4 are provided with a structure same as that of an inward flame burner. A large-size annular burner is provided with a structure, in which small-size inward burner burners are arrayed on the inner peripheral wall of the same. In this case, the number of burner port slits 5 can be increased without enlarging the burner main body 2 and the capacity of the annular burner can be increased without increasing a burning rate per one burner port when the annular burner is compared with a burner having the same burning rate. According to this method, the flame is stabilized and the reduction of generation of NOx can be contrived while the generation of noise due to vibration combustion can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thermal efficiency and the combustion efficiency, and prevent a combustion noise from occurring, by arranging a plurality of recess-shape burner ports in a manner to surround the outer periphery of an internal wall, and also, arranging the central axes of the burner ports in a manner to tilt to the inside of the burner at a lateral specified angle or lower to the center of the burner. SOLUTION: In this inside flame burner, a combustion gas introducing space 8 to which a combustion gas is introduced from a mixing pipe, is formed between an external wall 7 and an internal wall 6. Also, the whole body of a burner upper surface 9 including the upper surface of a burner port 2 tilts so that the internal wall 6 may become lower. The burner port 2 which is arranged on the burner upper surface 9, is arranged by tilting as a whole in such a manner that the opening surface of the burner port 2 may face to the center of the burner, and an annular side wall 3b of the burner port 2 extends in the direction which is substantially orthogonal to the burner upper surface, and into the combustion gas introducing space 8. Individual burner ports are tilted at different optional angles within a range wherein the central axis 10 of the burner port is 90 deg. or lower in the lateral direction to the center of the burner, and the angle faces to the inside of the burner.
