    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-mounted air conditioner having an air conditioner body mounted easily on a ceiling by tentatively attaching the air-conditioner body and operating a fixing member, in this state without requiring a user to hold the air conditioner body in a work of mounting the air conditioner on the ceiling. SOLUTION: The ceiling-mounted air conditioner is provided with the air conditioner body 12, the fixing member and a temporary attaching member 52. The air conditioner body 12 has a size allowing itself, to pass through a ceiling opening 15a to enter an attic space from the lower face side of the ceiling and the temporary attaching member 52 is made of an elastic member, so as to enable the air conditioner body 12 to pass through, while the air conditioner body 12 is passing through the ceiling opening 15a and to restore its natural shape, when the air conditioner body 12 has completely entered the attic space, so that the air conditioner 12 is prevented from falling. The fixing member comprises a ceiling side fixing member 16 and an air conditioner body side fixing member 24 and keeps the ceiling side fixing member 16 and the air conditioner body side fixing member 24 in an assembled state, while the temporary attaching member 52 is located in a relational position, where the air conditioner body 12 is prevented from falling from the ceiling opening.
