    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reset a cutoff valve, self locked to a valve closing condition, to a valve opening condition, by providing a bypass passage connecting a gas inflow/outflow chambers, and interposing an opening/closing valve in this passage, in a device closing a valve hole by moving a movable piece when a valve case is tilted. SOLUTION: When a valve case 30 is tilted by a prescribed angle or more by tumbling a gas equipment 1, a movable piece 32 is dislocated from a recessed part 36b, a valve unit 31 is pressed up into contact with a valve seat 35, a valve hole 35a is closed, gas supply is interrupted. In this way, a burner and a normal fire pilot burner are extinguished, a misfire is detected by a flame detection sensor, a safety valve is closed, gas supply is placed in an interruption condition. Thereafter, the gas equipment 1 is raised, the valve case 30 is placed in an untilted condition, an operating piece 38b of the gas equipment 1 is operated, when an opening/closing valve 38 is opened, a gas inflow chamber 33 and a gas outflow chamber 34 are connected through a bypass passage 37, an internal pressure of both the chambers 33, 34 is equalized, a self lock is unlocked, a tumble gas cut off valve 3 is reset to an opening condition.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a stable operation of a safety device for a lack of oxygen in a combustion device. SOLUTION: There is provided a thermocouple 19 for sensing a temperature of a flame (f) at a pilot burner 17 for use in igniting a main burner 10 and the thermocouple 19 is connected to a gas safety valve 12a to detect a temperature of the flame (f) when the flame (f) is lifted up due to a lack of oxygen in indoor air and then the gas safety valve 12a is closed. A draft restricting part 6b1 or a draft controlling part 6b2 having a large area with an air opening 6a being not opened is arranged below the flame (f) at a bottom plate 6 of a case of a combustion device. In the case that a concentration of oxygen in an indoor area is a concentration value in which the safety device for lack of oxygen is not tried to be operated, the flame (f) is prevented from becoming a lift flame f1 under a flow force of draft air (g). A plurality of different kinds of bottom plates 6 having a different area of the draft restricting part 6b1 or 6b2 are prepared and they are separately used in compliance with a lifting characteristic of the type of gas used.
