    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive seismometer for estimating the rocking of an earthquake from on/off signals that are obtained by processing seismic waves by accumulating on time every time when an on pulse is inputted from a detection part and estimating the seismic intensity of the earthquake from the seismic intensity and the correlation relationship of the total on time per unit time. SOLUTION: A sensing part A is a steel-ball-type seismometer, a switch part is opened and closed by allowing a steel ball to press a movable piece by the vibration of earthquake, and on/off signals are outputted. The seismometer does not operate due to a slight vibration and no signals due to the vibration of a building other than earthquake are outputted. Then, when the sensing part A detects an earthquake, on/off pulses are outputted. An operation- processing part B consisting of, for example, a microcomputer starts operation when an on pulse is inputted from the sensing part A, accumulates the on time every time when the on pulse is inputted, and estimates the seismic intensity of the earthquake from the correlation relationship between the seismic intensity and the total on time per unit time and outputs concentration from an output part C.

    • PURPOSE:To offer an optical card inclination detecting device for detecting an inclination of an optical card without adding a special optical system, by constituting said device so that an inclination angle of the optical card against the relative moving direction of an optical head can be detected by monitoring the variation quantity of a tracking signal. CONSTITUTION:In an optical card processor for recording or reproducing the information to and from an information recording track by bringing an optical head 6 to a relative movement against an optical card, and also, displacing the optical head 6 in the direction orthogonal to the relative moving direction by a tracking signal and allowing it to follow the information recording track, an optical card inclination detecting device 100 is provided with a servo-circuit 101, an optical system 102, and an actuator 103. In such a state, a tracking signal (b) for driving the actuator 103, based on a tracking error signal (a) inputted to the servo-circuit 101 is generated. By monitoring the variation quantity of this tracking signal (b) by using a differentiating circuit 104, an inclination angle of the optical card against the moving direction of the optical card is detected.

CONSTITUTION:A linear motor 1 is organized by arranging respective long-plate- formed permanent magnets 3a, 3b on the surfaces confronting two parallel stationary yokes 2a, 2b, and by forming parallel stationary magnetic field on the full length of the stationary yokes 2a, 2b, and by setting a ring-formed movable coil 4 in the stationary magnetic field to be reciprocated. The movable coil 4 is provided with two movable yokes 5a, 5b moving integrally with the movable coil 4, and the bypass 7 of magnetic flux due to the permanent magnets 3a, 3b is formed by the yokes.
