    • PURPOSE:To improve a sense of incongruity when a sound is heard as a voice by compressing the addition result of an addend and an augend to a maximum encoding value by a code converting circuit and outputting it when the addition result exceeds an upper-limit value, and outputting the addition result as it is when not. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a full-adder 1 for encoded binary numbers, an upper-limit detecting circuit 3 which is set below the maximum value of codes, and the code converting circuit 2 which compresses values from the upper-limit value to a maximum addition value to values from the upper limit value to the maximum code value. When the addition result of this full-adder 1 is larger than the upper-limit value, the output of the code converting circuit 2 is selected and when not, the addition result of the addend (a) and augend (b) of the full-adder 1 is selected and outputted. Namely, when the addition result exceeds the upper-limit value, the addition result is compressed to a value up to the maximum code value by the code converting circuit and outputted, but when not, the addition result of the full-adder 1 is outputted as it is. Consequently, values before and after the upper-limit value is exceeded are connected smoothly, so the sense of incongruity when the sound is heard as a voice is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent hunting from being generated, by arranging an input- change-directional flag and a feedback-change-directional flag, and by detecting the excessive state of a motor from these flags and a deviation. CONSTITUTION:A motor controller is composed of a motor 1 driven by an AC power source 6, the controlling circuit 2 of the motor, a switch 3, an input signal oscillator 4, and a potentiometer 5. An input data from the input signal oscillator 4 and a feedback data from the potentiometer 5 are compared with each other by a micro-computer 2a in the controlling circuit 2 and are discriminated, and by turning the switch 3 ON/OFF, the forward rotation, reverse rotation, and stopping of the motor 1 are controlled. In this case, an input-data- change-directional flag and a feedback-data-change-directional flag are arranged. Then, from the flags and the deviation of the data, the excessive state of the motor 1 is detected, and as long as the input data does not change, the motor 1 is stopped. As a result, the response of the motor 1 can be quickened.

A binarizing processing section 5 obtains the difference binarized picture. A labelling processing section 6 gives a label to a change area. A maximum area detection section 7 detects an area whose area is maximum. A centroid coordinate calculation section 8 obtains the centroid coordinate of the maximum area. A projection histogram smoothing section 10 obtains a maximum value and a minimum value of X and Y axes while smoothing a projected histogram of the difference binarized picture in the X and Y axis directions. A re-labelling processing section 11 gives a same label to a label of a change area in a rectangular area decided by them. Thus, an integral processing section 12 integrates an area in the rectangular area into one.
