    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a combined segment constituted by integrating an internal reinforced concrete structure and an outer shell from an aspect of strength.
SOLUTION: Rod-shaped steel materials 4 are installed on a steel shell equipped with main beams 1, joint plates 5, a skin plate 3 and longitudinal ribs 2 having opening parts 7 so as to cross longitudinal ribs 2 and the steel shell is filled with padding concrete 6 to form a combined segment. In this combined segment, the longitudinal ribs 2 are incorporated in and welded to the skin plate 3 on which the main beams 1 are temporarily placed at predetermined attaching positions, the rod-shaped steel materials 4 are subsequently inserted in the longitudinal ribs 2 to form a member composed of the skin plate 3, the longitudinal ribs 2 and the rod-shaped steel materials 4, this member is integrally molded along with the outer shell composed of the main beams 1 and the joint plates 5, the skin plate 3 and the longitudinal ribs 2 by welding and concrete 6 is cast in the formed outer shell.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel connection structure and a tunnel construction method, capable of sufficiently suppressing subsidence of upper ground and reducing a construction cost.SOLUTION: Since ground subsidence is greatly affected by a lining form constituting a upper half-side cross-section of a tunnel, a solid structure such as a reinforced concrete, steel or composite structure is employed as upper connection lining, so as to suppress the ground subsidence by suppressing displacement of tunnel lining. On a lower half side hardly affecting the upper ground subsidence, horseshoe-shaped lining having not a constant curvature but a rise different from that of an upper half side is constructed. Rational lining specifications based on acting earth pressure are applied to enable a drastic reduction in construction cost.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment which can achieve an increase in construction efficiency and the shortening of a construction period while being hardly subject to restrictions on manufacture and transportation, and a tunnel construction method.SOLUTION: The one segment 2 is constituted by coupling rear-side and front-side pieces 3 and 4, which are each formed in a trapezoidal shape, via bottom portions 31 and 41 of them; and tunnel lining 1 is constituted by joining the segment 2 to the preceding segments 2A and 2B. Thus, a width dimension, in a longitudinal direction X of a tunnel, of each segment 2 can be increased; and the number of man-hours for assembly can be reduced by reducing the number of the segments 2. The next segment 2C is set and joined between the preceding segment 2B and a shield machine M while excavation is performed in such a manner that a reaction force of a jack J of an excavator is borne by the preceding segment 2A protruding forward in an excavation direction. Consequently, the assembly of the segment 2 and the advancing of the excavator can be concurrently performed to increase the construction efficiency.
