    • PURPOSE: A coating material useful as a water stopping material for joint parts of sheet pile such as various kinds of steel, light-weight steel, steel pipes, etc., consisting of a urethane prepolymer having NCO terminal group of polyether polyol and an organic polyisocyanate, curable with moisture to give improved water swelling properties and water stopping properties.
      CONSTITUTION: A urethane prepolymer having NCO terminal group consisting of (A) a polyether polyol (e.g., oxyethylene/oxypropylene copolymer polyether polyol having 50W100wt% oxyetherlene content based on total oxyalkylene amount and 800W4,000 hydroxyl group equivalent) and (B) an organic polyisocyanate (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate and/or 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate type polyisocyanate) in an equivalent ratio of NCO group of the component B/OH group of the component A=1.4W2.5 is optionally blended with (C) a waterproof agent and a solvent, to give the desired coating material.
