    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring undulation which, when the undulation of a disk sliding surface in a brake disk-equipped railroad wheel is measured, the restrictions of the experience and concentration of a worker can be reduced, thereby enabling rapid measurement.SOLUTION: A device for measuring undulation includes; a wheel cradle 10 which supports a boss hole 1d of a wheel 1 and is rotated about the center axis of the wheel 1; a first displacement meter 21 which is disposed facing a sliding surface 2e of a disk 2 and measures a height displacement over the circumference of the sliding surface 2e with the rotation of the wheel cradle 10; a second displacement meter 22 which is disposed facing a rim surface 1e of the wheel 1 on the sliding surface 2e side and measures a height displacement over circumference of the rim surface 1e with the rotation of the wheel cradle 10; and a computing unit 23 which acquires the measurement data from the first displacement meter 21 to calculate the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the height displacement of the sliding surface 2e, acquires the measurement data from the second displacement meter 22 to calculate the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the height displacement of the rim surface 1e, and derives the difference between the first and second differences as the undulation of the disk 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc spring insertion jig capable of preventing a disc spring from being inserted and set in its wrong orientation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a jig for use in inserting a disc spring 6 to a brake disc 2, a railroad wheel 1 and a shaft part of a bolt 3 inserted into and set in the brake disc 2 in such a way that its concave surface may face toward a nut. The jig comprises a main body 50 having a drop port 50a for use in inserting the disc spring onto the shaft part of the bolt while dropping the disc spring. The main body 50 has a gate arranged at a front step of the drop port 50a and enabling only the disc spring mounted with its concave surface being faced toward a nut. Further, it is preferable that the insertion jig comprises a feeding rod 60, operation of the feeding rod 60 under a state in which it is inserted into the disc spring 6 causes the disc spring 6 to be moved up to the drop port 50a while it is being passed to the gate and dropped in the drop port 50a and further the disc spring 6 reached to the drop port 50a to be dropped along the feeding rod 60 while it is being dropped to the drop port 50a.
