This alloy material has superior wear resistance under severe conditions such as high surface pressure.

This material has a total hardness of Hv 500-1200 after liq. phase sintering, and 7-45% by area of cementite or eutectic crystals of cementite and P or B is contained in the matrix structure. The amount of sintering vacancies is 0.2-10vol%, and vacancies of 150mu or less in size occupy 40% or more of all of the vacancies.
