    • PURPOSE:To improve the operational efficiency, by providing a second control point in front of a first control point and varying a current indication and a control signal simultaneously at the second control point when a signal current indication varies between two control points. CONSTITUTION:If a ground signal unit 4 has an R current indication when a vehicle 2 passes through a control point P1 for producing a stop pattern, a signal is received by a vehicle mounted unit 6 through coupling between a ground slave unit 5 and a vehicle mounted slave unit 61, whereby a stop pattern is produced in a vehicle mounted controller 63 in order to stop the vehicle 2. If a current indication up signal is inputted at point Pr after the vehicle 2 passed through the control point P1, current indication up is delayed until the vehicle 2 passes through a control point P3. Passage of the vehicle 2 through the control point P3 is detected through a vehicle detector 8 to bring the ground signal unit 4 into Y current indication thus providing a Y current indication signal to the vehicle mounted slave unit 61 from the ground slave unit 7. Consequently, stop pattern is released and the vehicle is controlled to a speed corresponding to Y current indication.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the matter being affected by noise in either of systems even if noise exisits in the band of a signal by making the frequency of signals used in processing devices constituting a multiple system different at each system. SOLUTION: On the transmitting side, a transmitter 1a capable of transmitting a transmitting signal f1 of frequency f1 , and a transmitter 1b capable of transmitting a transmitting signal f2 of frequency f2 are provided. Meanwhile, a receiver 2a includes a band pass filter passing the transmitted signal f1 impressed on a rail (r) and an amplifying circuit, and can receive the transmitted signal f1 . A receiver 2b includes a band pass filter passing the transmitted signal f2 and an amplifying circuit, and can receive the transmitted signal f2 . Between the transmitter 1a and the receiver 2a, between the transmitter 1b and the receiver 2b, using frequencies are different from each other, and even if noise included in the band of the signal f1 of the transmitter 1a exists, the transmitter 1b is not affected by the noise. Hereby either of the systems can avoid being affected by noise.

    • PURPOSE:To apply brake finely by determining current position every time when point information is received from a ground unit, storing thus determined current position in a line data memory section, preparing a check pattern from a prestored pattern file and producing a check signal, and then comparing the check signal with an actual speed. CONSTITUTION:Every time when a receiving circuit 5 receives a ground point signal from any one of a plurality of ground units located closely to a rail, the ground point signal is delivered to a position detecting section 6 in order to determine current position. The ground point signal is also fed to a line data memory section 9 in a check pattern preparing section 40 and a gradient is inputted previously to a pattern file 10 stored for each line in order to prepare 11 and output a check pattern. A check signal generating section 12 generates a check signal from a position signal and a check pattern thus producing a speed check signal REF. An actual speed obtained at a speed signal generating section 30 is compared with the speed check signal REF at a checking section 13 and a brake signal is delivered from an output circuit 14 to a brake unit thus applying brake finely according to the gradient. According to the constitution, safety train operation is realized wherein deceleration and stop can be carried out smoothly.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce remarkably signal selection processing time by extending a control time when a selection output of a variable filter exists and transiting the control to the succeeding control without extending the control time when the selection output does not exist. CONSTITUTION:As a signal varying the selection central frequency of a variable filter 6, the duration time of signals fc1-fcn is extended from a time T to a time (T+ T) when the selection output of the filter 6 is present, where T is the duration time of the signals fc1-fcn given from a control section 7 to the filter 6. When the selection output of the filter 6 is absent at the time T, the next control signal is scanned. Thus, the presence of signal is decided when the output signal of the filter 6 is durated for a sufficiently long period and since mis-detection by a transient pseudo signal due to noise or the like is prevented, the information reliability of the signal is improved. Since the scanning is applied to the succeeding control signal at the time T in the absence of the selection output, the scanning time is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the safety of an automatic train control device by discriminating an ATC signal, transmitting train discriminating information from the ground after adding it to the ATC signal, to be used for which train at the car-mount side, and constituting its travel to be allowed within a tolerance limit of the ATC signal with a corresponding train alone. CONSTITUTION:As a car-mount unit, there are provided with a car number signal generating part 1 generating a car number signal inherent in a train, a transmitting antenna 3 transmitting the car number signal amplified at an amplifier 2, and a receiving antenna 4 receiving an ATC signal added with the car number signal out of the side of a ground unit. Also there is provided with a car number comparing part 6 which compares each car signal out of an ATC signal receiving part 5 to input the ATC signal received and the signal generating part 1 with the car number signal added to the ATC signal, and when both signals are accorded with each other, outputs a coincidence signal. Then, the ATC signal being inputted at time of generation of this coincidence signal is outputted and of an AND gate 7, and a braking device is operated by an automatic train control part 9 according to a speed signal out of a tachometer generator 8 for speed detection.

    • PURPOSE:To detect simply and assuredly a fault of the filter characteristics of a signal selecting circuit which is caused by the frequency change of a clock signal or a sampling signal, by supplying the check signal of a fixed frequency produced by a system different from that for the clock signal for signal selecting circuit to a sampling circuit together with the signal to be selected and then monitoring the output level of the check signal which is outputted from the signal selecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The selection outputs corresponding to input signals are obtained from signal selecting parts 51-5n in accordance with the frequency and the level of the input signal supplied to a terminal 1 as long as each circuit is nondefective. When the frequency of a clock signal CP or a sampling signal SP has a change, it is impossible for a signal selector to select accurately the input signal to the terminal 1 owing to variation of the filter characteristics of a signal selecting circuit 5. Thus the output level of a check signal selecting part 5x is reduced. Then a level monitor circuit 9 detects a fault of said filter characteristics.
