    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector plug low in loss and low in cost. SOLUTION: This plug consists of a plug main body 1 and a plug frame, and the plug main body 1 is constituted by embedding a coated optical fiber 4 in a ferrule 3 having a projection end part 6 formed at the rear end so that the tip is exposed as an optical contact surface 4a in the ferrule front and the rear end projects to behind the ferrule; and the plug frame has as constituent members a support plate 8 having a window hole 15 in which the projection part 6 of the ferrule 3 is fitted, an engagement plate 10, a print receiving block 11 and a spring 12 and the support plate 9 is formed by fitting a projection end part 6 in a window hole 15 of the ferrule 3 on both the top and reverse surfaces of the ferrule 3 of the plug main body 1, clamping and fixing engagement plates 10 arranged on both the flanks of the ferrule 3 and the spring receiving block 11 at front and rear ends, pressing and energizing the plug main body 1 forward all the times while interposing the spring 12 between the back of the ferrule projection edge part 6 of the plug main body 1 and the spring receiving block 11, and engaging the ferrule projection edge part 6 and the front edge 15a of the window hole 15 with each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an arbitrary gain characteristic in a region of an arbitrary level by selecting and outputting one of plural linear amplifier circuits in response to the output of an input level detection circuit. SOLUTION: A nonlinear amplifier circuit 10 consists of a 1st linear amplifier circuit 11, which has a large gain G1 and a narrow linear operation range, a 2nd linear amplifier circuit 12 which has a small gain G2 and a wide linear operation range, an input level detection circuit 13 which detects the input signal level and outputs a detection signal at a prescribed level of the input signal, and a switching circuit 14. The circuit 14 performs the switching between the output signals of both the circuits 11 and 12 and outputs them in response to the detection signal of the circuit 13. The gains G1 and G2, the linear operation ranges and also the bias voltage levels of both circuits 11 and 12 can also be set arbitrarily so that the switching point of the circuit 14 can also be set arbitrarily.

    • PURPOSE:To attain efficient confirming test of communication after installation work and connection of accurate communication by receiving a specific signal and a polarity identification signal returned from a line termination section through a telephone line and identifying the line termination section and its polarity. CONSTITUTION:When a signal transmission/reception section 7 connects to a terminal (equipment 15 via a terminal identification equipment 13, the transmission/reception section 7 confirms it that the terminal equipment 15 is in no communication state and sends a prescribed start signal. The start signal is fed to the terminal identification equipment 13 connecting to the termination section of a telephone line 11 via an interface 5 or the like. The equipment 13 supplies the start signal to a discrimination circuit 19 via a signal induction section 17 and when the circuit 19 detects the signal, a power supply section 25 is started to activate a terminal specific signal transmission section 21. When the transmission section 21 is operated, the signal specific to the terminal equipment 15 is sent. When the transmission/reception section 7 receives the specific signal, the said signal is analyzed to identify the signal to be a signal from the termination section of the line 11, and the result of identification is outputted from a display recording section 9 and displayed.
