    • PURPOSE:To reduce the conductor loss and to facilitate the branch of the transmission line by connecting transmission lines with a conductor at two pints or over including a start pint and an end point between the transmission lines. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric film 20 made of a silicon oxide film, a silicon nitride film or a polyimide film or the like whose height is H is formed on conductor films 10-12 formed on a dielectric (semiconductor) board 1 as a transmission line and conductors 13-15 are formed on the dielectric film 20 just on the conductor films 10-12. Then a start point 11a of a 1st transmission line 11 is connected to an end 14a of a 2nd transmission line by a conductor so as to be overlapped with the 1st transmission line 11. Moreover, an end point 11b of the 1st transmission line 11 is connected to an end 14b of the 2nd transmission line by a conductor so as to be overlapped with the 1st transmission line 11. Furthermore, ground conductors 13, 15 of the 2nd transmission line 14 are connected to the conductor films 10, 21 being ground conductors at ends 13a, 15 respectively. Thus, the current distribution follows in a way that the thickness of the conductor is increased nearly twice equivalently.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deviations in amplitude and phase of an output signal, also to expand a band and to miniaturize a circuit by inserting a transmission line which corrects to reduce the phase speed of an even mode, when the phase speed of an even mode is faster than the phase velocity of an odd mode into a connecting part of two connection lines which have a length of 1/4 wavelength, constituting a marchand balun. SOLUTION: A 1st terminal B of a lower distribution of a 1st connection line 1 and a 1st terminal A' of the lower distribution of a 2nd connection line 2 are connected though a 1st transmission line 3, whose line length is an arbitrary length L3. Related to a frequency characteristic when there is difference between phase speeds of orthogonal modes of the lines 1 and 2, respective changes of amplitudes and phases shown symmetrical characteristics, when the line 3 is connected and when it is not connected. Because this enables reducing the deviations in amplitude and phase of an output signal with a simple structure in which the line 3 is inserted, expanding an operation band and also shortening the length L3, the miniaturization of a circuit is easily realized.

    • PURPOSE:To handle a large transmission power by providing plural serial semiconductor switches at a received signal path and providing plural serial semiconductor switches between a transmission signal path and the ground inside a transmission/reception switching circuit for radio waves. CONSTITUTION:A voltage nearly 0V is applied to a first control terminal 41, and a negative voltage lower than the pinch-off voltage of an FET is applied to a second control terminal. In this case, FET elements 11a, 11b, 22a and 22b are turned to a conducted state and elements 12 and 21 are turned to an opened state. A signal inputted from an antenna terminal 3 is transmitted to a terminal 1. When a negative voltage lower than the pinch-off of the FET is applied to the control terminal 41 and a voltage nearly 0V is applied to the control terminal 42, the FET elements 11a, 11b, 22a and 22b are turned to the opened state, and the elements 12 and 21 are turned to the conducted state. A signal inputted from a transmission output terminal 2 is transmitted to the antenna terminal 3. Even when any high voltage output signal is applied, that voltage is divided by two pieces of serially connected FET element so that the transmission power about 6dB larger can be handled in comparison with one FET element. Further, the received signal path can be highly isolated as well.
