    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to determine an intended element simply, by combining the addition of a radioactive isotope, in which a carrier is absent or the amount of the carrier can be neglected as a principle, and radio activation, which can form the radio isotopes uniformly in a plurality of samples. CONSTITUTION:An objective element to be analyzed in a sample to be analyzed and a standard sample for comparison are labled with two kinds of radio isotopes having the different nuclides of the same element. An insufficient equivalent is separated from the sample to be analyzed and the standard sample for comparison. The radioactivities of the samples, which are separated, are measured. The objective element to be analyzed in the sample to be analyzed is determined based on the measured value. At this time, the addition of the radio isotope, in which a carrier is absent or the amount of the carrier can be neglected in principle, and radio activation, which can form the radio isotopes uniformly in a plurality of the samples, are combined. Thus the objective element can be quantified without necessarily separating the equivalent, when the insufficient equivalent is separated from the sample to be analyzed and the standard sample for comparison.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording optical disk using a heat mode recording component which is excellent in reliability for a long time without decreasing the sensitivity of recording provided by tellurium, by a method wherein a carbon disulfide plasma polymerised film, a laser beam absorption layer, and the carbon disulfide plasma polimerised film are successively laminated on a transparent plastic substrate. CONSTITUTION:The title disk is an information recording optical disk prepared by successively laminating a carbon disulfide plasma polimerised film on a transparent plastic substrate, a laser beam absorption layer thereon, and further carbon disulfide plasma polimerised film as a protective film thereon. The carbon disufide plasma polimerised film has a sublimation property and is also excellent in steam barrier property. The steam transmission of a polycarbonate substrate commonly used as an optical disk can be controlled at not more than 40% by the carbon disulfide plasma polymerised film. The thicker the carbon disulfide plasma polymerised film is, the better, but the increase of its thickness is related to the decrease of recording sensitivity accompanying the increase of heat capacity, and to the increase of output of laser required in recording, and further to the increase of film formation time. Therefore, the thickness of the film should be within a range of 40Angstrom -500Angstrom .
