    • PURPOSE:To provide the optical information recording and reproducing device with which high-density recording exceeding the limit of former information recording density is possible. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 21 emitted from a laser beam source 20 is diffracted to plural different directions by an optical diffraction element 100 and after the plural diffracted light beams emitted from the optical diffraction element 100 are collimated to plural beams by a collimating lens 12, the parallel beams are transmitted through a beam splitter 3 and the interference thereof is caused in the same position on a rotary disk medium 6 by an objective lens 5. As a result, a narrow isolated intensity peak is formed by the interference (multiwave interference) in a condensing position and a pit corresponding to one bit is formed by this isolated intensity peak. Consequently, the recording of the narrow pits exceeding the diffraction threshold in the case of condensing of the laser beam effectively only by the objective lens is possible and the higher density of the information recording density on the optical recording medium is easily attained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an optical information recorder capable of rapidly recording the hologram of two-dimensional information with high density on a still recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic standing wave is generated in an ultrasonic light deflector 2', and an incident laser beam from a laser light source 1 is diffracted by the ultrasonic standing wave, and a zero-order transmission beam and a first-order diffraction beam are obtained. The first-order diffraction beam irradiates the still recording medium 9' through a collimating lens 4 and an objective lens 5 to make a reference beam 8, and the zero-order transmission beam irradiates the recording medium 9' through the collimating lens 4, a space light modulator 6 and the objective lens 5 to make a signal beam 7. In the first-order diffraction beam diffracted and generated by the ultrasonic standing wave, whose doppler shift is canceled, and the same frequency component as the frequency of the incident beam exists even after being diffracted. Thus, though the diffracted beam with the same frequency component as the incident beam is interferred with the zero-order transmission beam, interference fringes become no moving interference fringes but become a spatial standing wave, and hologram recording is performed on the recording medium 9'.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the number of bits of converters and a DSP, to enlarge a dynamic range, and to attain a high resolution by transferring only the difference of a signal between an A/D converting part and a D/A converting part, and the DSP. CONSTITUTION:When an A/D converting part 1 receives an A/D converting instruction from a DSP 2, a difference signal detecting circuit 11 detects a difference input DELTAXn at every sampling cycle from an input Xn, and an A/D converter 12 A/D-converts the difference input DELTAXn, and transfers it to the DSP 2. The DSP 2 operates a digital signal processing necessary for an actuator control to the difference input DELTAXn, and calculates a difference output DELTAYn. When a D/A converting part 3 receives a D/A converting instruction from the DSP 2, a D/A converter 31 D/A-converts a difference output DELTAYn, an adding circuit 32 adds the difference output DELTAn to a held output DELTAYn-1 before one sampling cycle, and outputs an output Yn. Thus, only the difference of the output is transferred, so that the number of bits of the converters 12 and 31 can be decreased, and the high speed of the DSP can be attained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the optical head having excellent mechanical resonance characteristics of movable parts by providing a 1st lens which converges the parallel light beams from a light source unit, a 2nd lens which converts the converged light beam again to the parallel light beams and a 3rd lens which converges the parallel light beams to the recording surface of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION:Either one of the 1st or 2nd lenses 31, 59 moves within the plane orthogonal with its optical axis in accordance with the turning around the axis of a 1st movable member 23 mounted with this lens. The 3rd lens 42 moves in its optical axis direction in accordance with the oscillation of a leaf spring 43 supporting the 2nd movable member 24 mounted with this lens. The generation of the unnecessary oscillation by the movement of either one of the 1st or 2nd lenses 31, 59 within the plane orthogonal with the optical axis or the movement of the 3rd lens 42 in the optical axis direction thereof is obviated and the optical head having the good mechanical resonance characteristics is obtd.
