    • PURPOSE: To detect a voice included in an input signal on conditions different by noise levels by updating a threshold in accordance with the noise level to decide sound/silence. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal is divided by a unit time, and an average power Pi of the section is calculated, and a certain value α is added to the average power Pi to calculate a value (Pi +α). The average power Pi and a threshold Ti are compared with each other to output a discridecision result X0 showing larger one. The calculated value (Pi +α) and the threshold Ti are compared with each other to output a discrimination result X1 showing larger one. This decision result X1 is inputted, and a threshold Ti+1 of the next section is set to Ti if (Pi +α) is equal to or larger than Ti , and the threshold Ti+1 of the next section is set to (Pi +α) if (Pi +α) is smaller than Ti . The threshold Ti is set to a preliminarily determined certain value T0 at the time of the start of operation and is changed to output the decision result X0 at each time of elapse of the unit time.

    • PURPOSE:To securely and automatically segment and generate a voice file with a series of voices by recording a voice and a registered signal sound, and a cancellation signal sound, reproducing and inputting them to a file generating device, and generating the file of voices. CONSTITUTION:A signal sound generating device 10 has a registration button 11 and a cancellation button 12; and the registration signal sound is generated when the registration button 11 is pressed and the cancellation signal sound is generated when the cancellation button 12 is pressed. The file generating device 20 when inputting an acoustic signal converts the acoustic signal into a digital signal and every time a registration signal is detected in the input acoustic signal, the digital signal of the acoustic signal which is inputted so far is stored as different files in storage devices 25, 26, and 27 and a series of voice file names or voice file numbers are added to the respective voice files. Then when a cancellation signal is detected in the input acoustic signal, data in a voice file which is being written currently are deleted. Consequently, the load on a speaker and errors in segmentation are reduced and the efficiency of the segmentation and operation of the voice files is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To allow the user itself to edit a voice message in a voice file device in details via a telephone network by providing a network control means having an MODEM function connected automatically to a center to a subscriber side and a voice editing terminal device, and providing a multiple line use automatic outgoing/incoming network control means and a means storing, transferring and correcting the voice message to the center. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber depresses a calling key on a keyboard 12, a network controller 11 transmits a selection signal and a voice edition center 14 is called by a telephone network via an exchange 10. When a call signal arrives in the voice edition center 14, the automatic outgoing/incoming network controller 9 responds automatically and the line is connected. The code of the key inputted from the keyboard 12 by the subscriber is transmitted to the voice edition center 14 from the voice edition terminal device 15. Moreover, data such as input command to the subscriber, state display, input error, guidance such as fault display, content display of voice message and comment are transmitted to the voice edition terminal 15 from the voice edition center and a part of the data is displayed on a display device 16.
