    • PURPOSE:To use the titled device also as a figure input device for a computer, by switching video element density according to inputted information. CONSTITUTION:A transmission/reception control section 1 makes transmission/reception relating to the operation mode, and receives the operation mode information in the operation of either one of ununiformed video element density or uniform video element density for main and subscanning direction of conventional facsimiles. The operating mode information is interpreted at a mode interpretation section 2, resulting that a subscanning control section 3 is controlled. A read-in control section transmits a signal of original read-in start to a mechanism section 4, reads in the video signal of one scanning line and converts it to a facsimile signal and transmits it to an opposing facsimile device via the section 1. At reception, the mode information is interpreted at the section 2, and the subscanning control section 3 and the mechanism section 4 are operated with the result and the control of an output control section 6.

    • PURPOSE:To secure the function alteration without changing the wiring and then to obtain the plural number of the input and output relation by using such component blocks as the exclusive logic array, the FF array, the initial state setting part, the feedback information conversion part and the state output conversion part each. CONSTITUTION:The parallel input of m-units of input V1-Vm given from outside the device are supplied to exclusive logical sum array 301 along with parallel feedback information W1... sent from inside the device. Based on these input, m-units of inner input U1-Um of the linear logic function are delivered from array 301 and then supplied to FF array 302 consisting of the plural rows of the vertical connection of FF. At the same time, based on initial states I1-In of initial state setting part 303, the state functions X1-Xn of that moment are delivered to array 302, and output functions Y1-Yp are delivered to the outside of the device via state output conversion part 305. Then feedback information W1... are obtained at feedback information conversion part 304 and via functions X1-Xn to be supplied to array 301. For such sequence circuit, the circuit structure is decided previously, and thus the functions can be changed through the change of the program. As a result, the optional plural number of the input and output relation can be obtained.
