    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for separating a weld base stock by which a base stock welded in a heating furnace can surely be separated so as to prevent the occurrence of conveying troubles.
      SOLUTION: This apparatus for separating the base stock welded in the back and front direction in the outlet of the heating furnace at the heating time while continuously supplying cut base stocks into the heating furnace is provided with: a base stock conveying portion composed of a conveyor positioned at lower height than the heating furnace and a chute connecting the heating furnace with the conveyor; and a weld base stock separating portion composed of rollers for separating the head part of the base stock at the welded rear part of the base stock; and an eccentric cam for pushing down the head part of the base stock at the welded base stock front part. The base stock 5 and the weld surface of the base stock 6 are separated by supporting the head part of the base stock at the welded rear part of the base stock 5 with the rollers 10 and pushing down the head part of the base stock at the weld base stock front part 6 with the eccentric cam 11. The separated base stock 6 is dropped down onto the chute 8 and conveyed onto a chain conveyor 7.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a forging method of a ring which is effective for preventing the peeling of burr and the damage of a die surface of a forging press device by preventing the generation of the burr at the time of obtaining a ringed rolled material by rolling with a rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:In the rolling process, the ring hole 10a of a profile roll 10 in the rolling mill is attached to the outer peripheral part of the ring-like blank 55 and the ring hole 12a of a mandrel 12 is attached to the inner peripheral part of the ring-like blank 55, and the ring-like blank 55 is rolled by spreading it in the peripheral direction. Then pressed rolls 21, 22 are abutted on shaft end surfaces 27a, 27b of the ring-like blank 55 to obtain the ring-like rolled material 57. In a forging press process, the ring-like rolled material 57 is forcedly pressed by the die surfaces of the forging press device to obtain the forging ring.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a forging device in which the relative displacement of upper and lower forging dies is detected and an alarm is raised when the displacement is beyond a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:In the forging die 6, an X detecting piece 7, a Y detecting piece 8, and a Z detecting piece 9 in projecting piece shapes are fixed. An X displacement detecting means, a Y displacement detecting means, and a Z displacement detecting means are each provided with a laser oscillator 12, a polygon mirror 13, a rotary encoder 15, a floodlighting lens 16 for making a parallel laser beam, a light receiving lens 18, and a light receiving element 19. When a metal material is forged in the forging die 6, the displacements in the X direction of the X detecting piece 7, in the Y direction of the Y detecting piece 8, and in the Z direction of the Z detecting piece 9 art detected by the laser. When the displacements are beyond the prescribed values, the alarm is raised by an alarm raising means.
