    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel-frame member for a column realizing cost reduction by reducing an amount of a steel material and a processing cost while sufficiently securing bending strength of the column, and also to provide a skeleton structure using the same.
      SOLUTION: A subsidiary steel material 20 is formed shorter than a floor height dimension H1 and is extended to a beam-column joint 28 and in the vertical direction thereof and is joined to a main steel material 10, so that the steel-frame member 4 for the column in a floor height central part is composed only of the main steel material 10 and the amount of the steel material is reduced by disuse of the subsidiary steel material 20 in the floor height central part. Since a bending moment applied in a weak-axis direction of the column 2 is supported by a reinforced concrete section in a central part of the column and is supported by the subsidiary steel material 20 at upper and lower ends of the column, the bending strength of the column 2 is sufficiently secured. Accordingly cost reduction is realized by reducing the amount of the steel material and the processing cost while sufficiently securing the bending strength of the column 2.
