    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a traveling long material independently of the size of the long material and reduce the cost of the device by rotating a rotor where variable-width long material receiving gap portions are formed at designated intervals, and taking a traveling material in the gap portion and releasing the same in the lateral direction. SOLUTION: When a traveling material receiving gap 14 of a rotor 13 driven by a servo motor reaches the top face 12a of a traveling table 12, a traveling material 11a traveling a contained angle made between the top face 12a of a traveling table 12 and the peripheral surface 13a of a rotor 13 is taken in the gap portion 14 by its gravity while it passes there. Subsequently, with the rotation of the rotor 13, the traveling material 11a is carried as shown by 11b, 11c, 11d to be remote from the traveling table 12 and when the material reaches the opposite side 11d to the traveling table 12, it is released to a cooling floor. In the case where the diameter of the traveling material 11a is small, the space of the gap portion 14 is narrowed by an adjusting member 16. Thus, even with a small-capacity motor, the speed of passing the gap portion 14 can be controlled to a desired speed.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the productivity by providing a plurality of welding equipment on each joint side across the tubular axis of the steel pipe pile to achieve the welding at appropriate and individual welding speed to reduce the welding defects and the cost of the welding material. CONSTITUTION: A welding equipment 4 is arranged and traveled at high speed to the welding starting position with the reference position (a) as a starting point based on the preliminarily inputted information on the joint type of the steel pipe pile, the length of the right and left joints, the position from the end face of the mother tube, etc. A welding torch 4-2 is automatically set to the angle of dive, the angle of inclination, the welding current and voltage, and the individual welding speed based on the information on the preliminarily inputted joint type. Each welding equipment 4 is automatically stopped when the welding of the individual welding length is completed, each welding torch 4-2 is moved to the position of a spatter removing equipment (wire brush) 4-9 for the welding of the rear side to remove the spatter. After sensing the joint seam, the welding of the rear side is started. After the welding of the rear side is completed, the next steel pipe pile is prepared for the welding, and a traveling truck is retracted at the same time, and the welded steel pipe pile is carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a machine for stacking steel pipes and for forming those into a hexagonal shape by providing substantially vertical and movable stoppers in the front and rear of an elevating frame for carrying steel pipes or the like, by providing a front frame which is replaceable with the stoppers and adapted to be receive the forward sections of the steel pipes in an inclined condition, and by providing a rear frame which is vertically and longitudinally movable and adapted to receive the rear end parts of the steel pipes in the inclined condition. CONSTITUTION:When steel pipes 2 or the like are stacked one upon another in a rectangular shape having the vertical front and rear surfaces, the steel pipes 2 or the like adapted to be stacked on an elevating frame 3 are positioned at their forward end by stoppers 4 which are longitudinally movable. Thereafter, the steel pipes are stacked one upon another in a substantially vertical rectangular shape while they are prevented from being dropped forward. Further, when the steel pipes 2 or the like are formed into a hexagonal shape, front and rear frames 5, 6 position the front and rear ends of the steel pipes while they regulate the inclinations of the front and rear sections of the pipes so that the steel pipes 2 and the like are successively stacked on the elevating frame 3. Thus, it is possible to stack the steel pipes and as well to form the steel pipes into a hexagonal shape by use of one and the same machine.
