CONSTITUTION:Detectors 31, 31' generate signal 36, 36' corresponding to each detecting body 32, 32' when a coupling 22 rotates, and detect a real rotational direction of a work roll 20. The detected signals 36, 36' are inputted to an operational comparator 33, and outputted only while a rotational direction detecting signal 42 and an operating signal 40 are being inputted. When the signal from the comparator 33 is a forward turn, a stop control is executed as it is, and on the other hand, when the signal from the operational comparator 33 detects a reverse, a driving machine 26 is brought to a driving control in the forward turn direction. That is to say, by repeating a reverse preventing action of the work roll in this way, a control device 34 controls the driving machine 26 so that a reverse of the work roll 20 is not caused at the time of a stop of a mill, based on an input data from the operational comparator 33 and an input data from a pilot generator 35.

    • PURPOSE:To quickly and safely rearrange the rolls of a rolling mill, by making a single driving device capable of engaging and disengaging a hook freely engageable with a roll and a rod freely engageable with a stopper installed upon a floor surface. CONSTITUTION:The titled rearranging apparatus comprises a roll rearranging truck 1 freely travellable upon a floor surface 8 outside of a rolling mill, and a rod 3A for giving a reciprocating motion to this truck 1. A hood 5, whose one end is freely engageable with a hook 6 of a roll 10, is supported by a bearing attached to an end 3B of the said rod 3A. The hook 5 also supports a rod 7B so as to be freely slidable and a rod 15B engageable with a stationary stopper 16. These rods 7B, 15B in two systems are interlocked with a single reciprocating driver; the rod 7B engages and disengages with the hook 5, and another rod 15B engages and disengages with the stopper 16.
