    • PURPOSE:To enable compaction efficiently in response to the status of the ground to be compacted by the directivity, isotropy, etc., of the direction of vibrational distribution by adjusting the difference, phase difference, etc., of the direction by the motion of a weight mass and controlling the direction of vibrational distribution. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of exciters 13 vibrated by shell bodies transmitting vibrations over the outer circumferential ground, weight masses rotatably supported, rotation-energized hydraulic motors, etc., are installed at the front ends of each rod 11. Each rod is penetrated into the ground while the peripheral ground is compacted by jet water ejected from the front ends of each rod 11 and the vibrations of each exciter 13.     • PURPOSE:To effectively dissipate void water pressures without causing clogging apertures in crushed stones by a method in which a double structure of casing auger is penetrated into the ground, and while charging coarse crushed stones into the inner pipe and also fine crushed stones into the aperture between the inner and outer pipes, the casing auger is drawn out to form a sand pile. CONSTITUTION:A casing auger 1, consisting of an outer pipe 3, inner pipe 4, and two or three cutter pieces 2 attached to the tip of the outer pipe in an opening and closing manner, is penetrated into the ground 6, and before the auger 1 is pulled up, coarse stones 10 are charged into the inner pipe 4 and fine crushed stones 11 are charged into the aperture between the inner and outer pipes 4 and 3. In the double structure pile so formed, the clogging of apertures in coarse crushed stones by the soil of liquefied ground can be prevented, and void water pressures can be effectively dissipated.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the propagation of oscillation due to the operation of a construction equipment or the like, by inserting a freezing pipe into ground on the oscillatory propagation way, and by filling up the pipe with freezing liquefied nitrogen gas to form the wall of frozen earth different from oscillatory propagation characteristic impedance. CONSTITUTION:In the area of a positioning section on ground 1, a plurality of boring holes 6 are excavated and freezing pipes 7 are driven therein, and into the pipes, refrigerants are poured, and the ground 1 near the freezing pipes 7 is frozen. For the freezing pipes 7, doubled pipes with internal pipes 7a for the flowing-in passages of the refrigerants and with external pipes 7b for the return passages of the refrigerants are used, and the brine of a freezing cycle is circulated through the start and return passages, and liquid nitrogen is discharged from a cylinder into the flowing-in and return passages, and the passages are filled up with the nitrogen to freeze the ground 1 to solidify it. Then, in the ground on the oscillatory propagation way, the wall 5 of frozen earth with impedance different from oscillatory propagation characteristic impedance is formed. As a result, oscillatory propagation in a low frequency area which has an adverse influence upon structures and human bodies can be suppressed.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively transfer vertical vibration energy produced during penetration, by a method wherein a drain pipe and a support pile are penetrated into an upper sandy ground, the following support pile is added to the preceding pile to penetrate only the piles, and filling with a filling material is effected as the drain pipe is pulled off. CONSTITUTION:A drain pipe 1 and a support pile 9 are simultaneously penetrated into an upper sandy ground 8 by a pile driving machine, and gap water 10 entering a cylinder body 2 is discharged to a ground surface. After they are penetrated down to a given position, the following support pile 9 is added to the preceding pile, and only the support piles 9 are penetrated by a pile driving machine. After the pile is penetrated down to a support layer 13, a filling material 15, such as sand, is charged as, with a bottom cover 3 opened, the drain pipe 1 is pulled off, and the surrounding of the support piles 9 is filled with the filling material 15. This causes a drain with a blade to be penetrated together with the support piles, and enables vertical vibration energy, produced during penetration, to be repeatedly exerted as a shearing force throughout a wide range of the upper sandy ground.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively compact a sandy ground through effective propagation of vertical vibration of a pipe to a sandy ground, by a method wherein, during penetration of a pipe, gap water is collected in the pipe to drain the water to a ground surface. CONSTITUTION:A casing pipe 1 is penetrated into a sandy ground 7 through application of vertical vibration, and gap water 8, entering the pipe 1 through slit formed in and a filter attached to the peripheral surface of a pipe 1, is drained through a hose 10. A given amount of a filler 12, such as sand, is charged into the pipe 1, the bottom cover 3 of the pipe 1 is opened, and the pipe is lifted to a given position. By re-driving the pipe 1, the bottom cover 3 is closed, the filler 12 is compacted, and the pipe is pressed in the sandy ground 7 therearound. This causes the gap water to be collected in the pipe 1 during penetration of the pipe 1 to drain the water to a ground surface, resulting in the possibility to effectively propagate vertical vibration of the pipe 1 to the sandy ground to effectively compact the sandy ground.
