    • PURPOSE:To easily manufacture ferrous spherical particles having only a little iron oxide by charging ferrous powder in combustion flame gas together with inert gas and melting and sphering the ferrous powder in the flame. CONSTITUTION:The oxygen-propane flame 2 and the ferrous powder 3 are injected from a burner 1. The above ferrous powder 3 is come into the burner 1 together with inert gas 9 of nitrogen gas, etc., through a pipe 4 from a hopper 5 and injected from powder injection holes 11. On the other hand, the oxygen 6 and the propane 7 are come into the burner 1 through a gas controller 8 to become the oxygen-propane mixed gas and injected from flame holes 10 to form the flame 2. The powder injection holes 11 and the flame holes 10 in the burner 1 are arranged as circularly sandwich-state. By this constitution, the ferrous powder 3 is injected into the flame 2 while preventing oxidation with the inert gas. By this method, the ferrous powder 3 is melted and perfectly sphered with surface tension and the ferrous spherical particle having only a little iron oxide is obtd. through cooling process.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the partial control of temperature and obtain a glaze layer having varied patterns, by controlling the flame-spray condition of a glaze, thereby controlling the color development of the flame-sprayed glaze. CONSTITUTION:Plurality of glazes 9 stored in storage tanks 1a-1e are transferred through a line 3 to a flame-spray burner 4 by driving feeders 2a-2e in controlled state, melted with flame 7 of a fuel gas and O2 gas supplied through lines 5, 6, and sprayed against a tile substrate 8 to form a glaze layer 10. The state of the feeders 2a-2e, i.e. driven or non-driven, is detected and the detection signal (a) is inputted into a controlling mechanism 11 and compared with a standard signal (b) such as optimum spraying conditions according to the kind and feeding rate of the glaze or the change in the color tone of the glaze corresponding to the spray temperature. The spraying conditions are calculated according to the results, the calculated result (C) is transmitted to the feeders 2a-2e and lines 5, 6 and the designated kind of glaze is sprayed to a tile substrate 8 under the necessary color-developing conditions.

    • PURPOSE:To easily form a glaze layer on a surface of a columnar object, by standing the object on a rotary table, rotating the table and flame-spraying a glaze against the circumference of the columnar object while vertically reciprocating a flame-spray burner along the longitudinal direction of the columnar object. CONSTITUTION:A columnar tile substrate 1 is set up vertically on a rotary table 2 containing a built-in motor and a flame-spray burner 3 is disposed opposite to the substrate interposing a prescribed distance from the circumference of the columnar tile substrate 1. The rotary table 2 is rotated with the motor and a glaze 4 (e.g. SiO2-R2O frit) is flame-spray coated to the circumference of the columnar tile substrate 1 with the flame-spray burner 3 while vertically reciprocating the flame-spray burner 3 along the longitudinal direction of the columnar tile substrate 1. A glaze layer 5 is formed on the whole circumference of the tile substrate 1 by this process. Preferably, the spraying of the glaze 4 is carried out while maintaining a definite distance between the burner 3 and the tile substrate 1 with a sensor detecting the distance between the burner 3 and the tile substrate 1.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce generating slag quantity and to reduce unit consumption of a treating agent and heating cost by injecting the pretreating agent to continu ing flow of molten iron after heating at high temp. and executing dephosphorization without slagging off on the downstream side after desiliconizing at the upstream side. CONSTITUTION:The pretreating agents for desiliconizing agent and dephosphoriz ing agent are injected to the molten iron flow 4 flowing on the trough bottom 3 of casting floor of a blast furnace from lances 1, 2 to execute the pretreatment of molten iron 4. Then, the lance 1 at the upstream is used and the prescribed desiliconizing agent containing iron oxide and CaO is injected, to execute the desiliconization. After that, in the downstream side, the slag generated by desiliconizing treatment without slag off is used, and further the dephosphorizing agent having CaO content is injected from the lance 2, to execute the dephos phorizing treatment. In this way, by saving the addition quantities of oxide iron and fluorspar, total slag generated quantity is reduced and this treating load is reduced. Further, the unit consumption of iron oxide, etc. heating cost of treating agent can be reduced.
