摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a control method for flow rate of molten metal, in which the molten metal surface in a mold is suitably adjusted, by controlling the flow rate of the molten metal supplied from a tundish in continuos casting. CONSTITUTION:At the upper part of an immersion nozzle 6 in the tundish 1 for supplying the molten metal 16 into the mold 7, a discharging part 3 of almost the same diameter as the above nozzle is arranged, and an electromagnetic flow meter 4 at the upper side of the discharging part and a sliding nozzle 5 at the low side thereof, are fitted and at first, the flow rate of the molten metal flowing through the discharging part 3 is detected with the electromagnetic flow meter 4 and converted into a flow rate signal, and the sliding nozzle 5 is opened/closed based on this signal to control the flow rate of the molten metal in the discharging part. The flow rate of the molten metal flowing through the immersion nozzle is precisely grasped, and also the suitable flow rate control and adjustment of the molten metal surface can be executed, and the stable operation and the quality improvement of a cast slab are obtd.

Since the ceramic layer 5 prevents the exfoliation of oxide, the Ti layer 3 is not exposed over a prolonged period of time.

摘要： PURPOSE:To develop the iridium oxide/Ti joined body as an anode catalyst of a low oxygen generating supervoltage by cleaning the surface of a Ti base material by impression of an AC voltage thereto in an aq. sulfuric acid soln., then forming an Ir-C composite film and subjecting the film to oxidation by heating in the atm. CONSTITUTION:The metallic Ti of the base body is immersed into an aq. sulfuric acid soln. of about 0.05 to 4mol/l concn. and an AC voltage is impressed thereto to electrolyze and clean the surface at the time of producing the anode to be used for electrolytic treatment of various kinds of aq. solns. Ir and C are then vapor depositited by a vacuum vapor deposition method on the surface of this Ti substrate to form the Ir-C composite film having 0.05 to 0.30 compsn. ratio of the Ir to the C. This base material is heated to about 225 to 350 deg.C in the atm. to burn away the C in the composite film and to oxide the Ir to form the iridium oxide film. The anode catalyst for electrolysis which consists of the iridium oxide/Ti joined body and has the low oxygen generating supervoltage is thus produced.
