    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the grain distribution of sintered ores supplied to a blast furnace has been unstable, because, conventionally, a middle size of sintered ores produced in a sintering machine has been alternatingly switched a stream directing to a hopper for flooring materials with a stream directing to the blast furnace by a sorting chute. SOLUTION: This sorting structure of a chute comprises a swing plate 41 for blocking an inlet of the first diverted section 43 and leading the middle size ores 29 to a second diverted section 44, and a bypass 45 for diverting a part of middle size ores 29 flowing into the second diverted section 44 to the first diverted section 43 through it, and for dropping them onto a conveyer 29, as shown in Figure 3 (a). Then, the rest of the middle size ores 29 drop onto a B conveyer 34 through the second diverted section 44. Large size ores 26 also drop onto the B conveyer 34, as shown by an outlined arrow, and the mixed ores of the large size and the middle size move toward a blast furnace. The swing plate 41 is not basically swung. As a result, the structure stabilizes the grain distribution of the mixed ores of the large size and the middle size, and consequently the grain distribution of the sintered ores to be supplied to the blast furnace.     • PURPOSE:To simply manufacture lime for sintering raw material by putting mixed powder of lime stone and cake on the surface of the sintering raw material in a iron ore sintering device, calcining the lime stone into the lime and recovering with a sucking device providing a cyclone. CONSTITUTION:In order to manufacture sintered ore for blast furnace, bedding ore and blending raw material (mixed material of powdery iron ore, coke powder, lime powder, returned ore, etc.) are put on an endless pallet 1 in the sintering machine from a bedding ore hopper 3 and a supplying ore hopper 4 and on this surface, the mixed powder 9 of the lime stone and the coke is put from a hopper 16. Further, ignition is executed to the coke by an igniting device 15 and also, combustion gas is sucked by an exhauster 14 through a wind box and an exhaust gas duct 23 to sinter the mixed raw material and the sintered ore is crushed 5 to the suitable size in an ore discharging part 22 and cooled 6 and passed through a screen 7 to manufacture the sintered ore. The lime 21 calcined from the lime stone by the igniting device 15 is sucked by plural sucking nozzles 19 at the tip part of carrying pipe 20 connected with the (a) position to an exhaust gas duct 23 and recovered by the cyclone 17. The lime for sintering raw material is simply manufactured without needing the special sucking device, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce unit requirement of returns by a method wherein the height of a heap of red heat sintered ore, which is discharged from a sintering machine at regular intervals and gradually crushed by a primary crusher, is monitored by means of an image-processing device and the speed of rotation of the primary crusher is controlled. CONSTITUTION:An image-processing device 1 with a camera constantly monitors the height of a heap of sintered ore 22 on a primary crusher 23 which is discharged from the ore-discharge part 21a of a sintering machine 21 to the primary crusher 23. The image signal, representing the height of the heap of the sintered ore and undergone the image processing, is sent to a calculator 2, where the timing of the completion of the previous crushing of the red heat sintered ore is determined by detecting the change of the image of the height of the heap from plus to zero and the start of the subsequent discharge of red heat sintered ore is determined by detecting the change of the image of the height of the heap from ZERO to PLUS. The difference between the two timings is calculated and, when, for example, the time from the discharge of ore to the completion of the crushing is PLUS, the speed of rotation of the primary crusher 23 is lowered in inverse proportion to the magnitude of PLUS.
