摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the bulk packing density of a carbon material, to decrease the shrinkage for molding, to prevent the generation of dust during molding and to reduce the time for deaeration by molding a granulated powder of proper hardness prepared by a specified method. CONSTITUTION:A finely pulverized carbonaceous material and a pitch binder are kneaded in a kneader to prepare a paste, and then cooled and pulverized again to obtain the source powder material. This powder is introduced with a granulating liquid essentially comprising water into a pin granulator (rotary granulator) and granulated. 摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a high-density carbon material giving a formed article resistant to deformation without generating dust in molding by granulating fine powder of carbonaceous material to get a specific hardness, filling the granules in a forming rubber, subjecting to rubber-press forming in fluid pressure and baking the formed product. CONSTITUTION:Finely crushed carbonaceous material (e.g. coal coke) is mixed with a binder (e.g. coal pitch) using a kneader and the obtained paste is cooled and crushed again. The obtained raw material powder is charged into a pin granulator together with a granulation liquid composed mainly of water (e.g. aqueous solution of methanol), granulated and dried to obtain particles having a particle hardness of 3-18g. The obtained granule is filled in a forming rubber, subjected to rubber-press forming under fluid pressure and baked or graphitized. The obtained high-density carbon material is suitable e.g. as a raw material for electrode for electrical discharge machining.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the clogging in a cylinder and to make particle size distribution sharp, by compressing the fine powder supplied in a horizontal cylindrical container to increase the bulk density of the compressed one to 1.5 times or more that of the fine powder at the time of supply before supplying a binder and water to said fine powder. CONSTITUTION:A fine powder is supplied in a horizontal cylindrical container from the upper end thereof and compressed at first to increase the bulk density of the compressed one to at least 1.5 time or more that of the fine powder at the time of supply. Subsequently, a binder and water are supplied to the compressed fine powder and the resulting mixture is stirred and mixed by rotating a rotary shaft having a large number of stirring pins provided to the surface thereof to be subjected to wet granulation while the granule is discharged from the other lower end of the container. As the fine powder, rapped wool like carbon black formed by cracking hydrocarbon oil in a high temp. reaction furnace is pref. As the fine powder compressing method, there is a method for performing compression in a feed stage by reducing the pitch of a screw blade toward the leading end thereof.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obviate the clogging of a screen with air vent holes with powder and granular materials and to automatically discharge accumulated heavy particles by supporting the screen with rollers at both end and arranging the screen in such a manner that the free endless movement thereof in an operating state is made possible. CONSTITUTION: When the screen 11 is clogged or the particles of a heavy sp. gr. accumulate on the screen 11, a discharge gate is opened in the operating state and the rollers 12 are rotated by a geared motor 14, by which the screen 11 of a belt conveyor type wound around the rollers 12 and 12 is moved. The powder and granular materials accumulated on the screen 11 are partly discharged from the powder and granular material discharge duct 18 by this movement and are separated from the normal powder and granular materials. Further, gas is sprayed from a nozzle 15 toward the part of the screen 11 which no longer faces the powder and granular materials in a casing 1, by which the fine powders clogging in the pores of the screen 11 are blown off and the clogging of the screen 11 is eliminated.
