摘要： PURPOSE:To improve a corona discharge treatment effect by installing electrode pieces producing an electrode surface in a way of joining individual surfaces together, making those more than one piece movable ones, and pressure-contacting with the back of a material to be treated, under pressure, with a backward extruding device. CONSTITUTION:A metal mold electrode type of a nickel plate of 1mm in thickness is divided into four electrode pieces, installing resin layers in them, and the resin layer surfaces are made to be blocking surfaces out on the bumper back. An electrode piece 1a is fixed to a support block 12, and each air cylinder 13 is attached to the backside of the blocking surface to make them movable electrode pieces 1b, 1c, 1d. The cylinder 13 is supported on a blanket 11 and fixed to the support block 12. This counter electrode 1 is built in a corona discharge processor. The movable electrode pieces 1b-1c are retracted, a bumper is placed thereon in accord with the blocking surface 5a of the electrode piece 1a, operating the cylinder 13, and a movable electrode field is pushed to the bumper back and completing the electrode surface, and an exciting electrode is brought into contact with a bumper surface, then a high frequency high voltage is added to space between this exciting electrode and the counter electrode, thus corona discharge treatment takes place. With this constitution, the treatment can be effectively applied even to complex three-dimensional forms.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance a close adhesiveness with a top coat film, by pretreating a polyolefin resin molded article with plasma at ambient temp. to set the surface energy thereof to a specific value or more. CONSTITUTION:A resin molded article 1 such as an automobile bumper is molded from a polyolefin resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene. Next, this polyolefin resin molded product 1 is directly charged in an atmospheric pressure plasma treatment apparatus 2 to perform plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure. For example, the apparatus 2 is equipped with a base electrode 2a having the molded product 1 placed thereon and a discharge electrode 2b wherein a large number of flexible discharge electrode wires 22 extend from a conductive electrode wire mount part 21 and the leading ends thereof are contacted with the surface of the molded product 1 and, by applying high voltage between both electrodes, the surface of the molded product 1 is activated. At this time, the surface energy of the molded product 1 is set to 43dyn/cm or more in terms of surface tension.
