    • PURPOSE: To provide the uniform air permeability of a sintering bed and to provide the better and uniform productivity of sintering and the quality of sintered ore by placing a raw material onto the place where the cracks generated on the sintering bed after an ignition furnace to embed the cracks.
      CONSTITUTION: The sintering raw material is discharged from a raw material hopper 11 and is charged from a charging feeder 12 onto a sintering pallet 1. The sintering bed 2 is formed by a raw material charging gate 13 and the bed 2 is ignited by the ignition furnace 14. The flow rate of suction air increases to retard the smooth progression of sintering and the temp. in the cracked parts decreases when the cracks 3 arise on the bed during this time. The temp. on the bed is thereupon measured by an IR television camera 4 and the distribution of the point where the temp. is low is measured by an image processor 5. The replenishing ore is charged to the point of the low temp. by opening the gate of a roll feeder 8 of a replenishing ore hopper 7 by a commander 6 for the opening degree of the rotary feeder. The replenishing ore is placed on the cracks 3, by which the flow rate of the suction air is decreased and the air permeability on the bed 2 is made uniform.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture lump ore without burning it, by constituting this manufacturing device of a gas blowing device of one side for blowing gas containing saturated steam of a prescribed temperature, and a gas exhaust device of the other side, between which a material moving from one side to the other side is placed, and an aging chamber for executing the aging in the course of movement. CONSTITUTION:A material which has added granulated slag as a binding material to pulverulent iron ore is supplied to a square shaft 4 by a feeder 5 and goes down. Gas containing saturated steam at 70 deg.C and gas containing saturated steam at 100 deg.C are blown in from a feed header 11 to a low temp. part and a feed header 18 to a high temp. part, respectively, so as to meet at right angles to the going-down material, heat the material, and after that, are exhausted to a duct line 23B. The material further goes down, reaches a main aging chamber 4D, regular aging is performed, and a pellet having sufficient strength is obtained. This pellet is dried up by hot air from a drying air header 26, becomes a product pellet 6, and is cut out by a rotary blade type cutting nachine 8.

    • PURPOSE:To solve unstableness of furnace conditions, such as cooling of a furnace and overheating of the top of the furnace by a method wherein a tuyere which blows cold air into a specific part of a shaft of a vertical type thermal decomposion fusing furnace (a shaft furnace) is provided and a quanitity of a cold air blow is controlled so that a temperature of the top of the furnace falls within a range of a predetermined temperature. CONSTITUTION:An ordinary tuyere 4 and upper secondary tuyeres 5 are provided on a shaft furnace 1, cold air 7 is blown into the furnace 1 through the secondary tuyeres 5 by means of an air flow quantity control valve 6 and hot air 8 is blown into the furnace through the ordinary tuyere 4 as well. And a temperature detected with a top furnace temperature detector 9 is compared with a predetermined temperature generated by a predetermined temperature generator 10, based on this comparison a control signal is generated by a converter 11 for the control of the above control valve 6 and an air blow quantity from the secondary tuyeres 5 is controlled so that the top furnace temperature can attain the predetermined temperature. In this case a level of the secondary tuyeres 5 is set at a part of the shaft wherein a temperature in the vicinity of the furnace is higher than 700 deg.C. Because of this varying moisture content of a city garbage can be dried stably, and the desired end is attained.

    • PURPOSE: To contemplate the effective utilization of wet heat of produced gas, by supplying air and steam from the tuyere of a shaft furnace contg. briqueeted coal charge therein, carrying out dry distillation to gasify coal, and recovering produced gas from the top and the belly of the furnace.
      CONSTITUTION: Briquetted coal or lump coal, an iron source and limestone are charged into a dry distillation zone 1 located at the top of a shaft furnace. Hot air and steam are supplied throuth a tuyere to the gasification zone 2 of the furnace. Dry distillaion is carried out. Then produced gas is recovered from the top and the belly of the furnace and introduced into a conversion part 3 where tar and ammonia liquor are added to the produced gas to obtain converted gas, said tar and ammonia liquor being separated from the dry-distilled gas recovered in the zone 1. The converted gas is supplied to a reducing shaft furnace 4 to use it as a heat source for converting green pellet obtd. from an iron ore into reduced pellet.
