    • PURPOSE: To reduce the production cost of sintered ore by adding an adequate ratio of a binder to pulverous sintered raw material powder, molding and pelletizing the powder by an extrusion to mini-briquettes of a prescribed size and adding the same as a sintering raw material to sintered ore.
      CONSTITUTION: The binder having 0.5W20 C.P. viscosity of a soln. contg. raw material moisture is added at 1W3wt% to a single raw material or raw material mixture of ≥30% -4mm and -0.125mm out of the sintering raw material consisting essentially of iron ore and the raw material is molded and pelletized by the extrusion to 1W5mm ϕ×1W10mm L mini-briquettes. One kind of waste alcohol liquid contg. raw material moisture, quick lime, coal tar, CMC, corn starch, wheat flour, PVA, propane deasphated asphalt, etc., or the mixture composed thereof is used for the above-mentioned additive soln. The above- mentioned mini-briquettes are added as the sintering raw material to the sintered ore by which the compounding region and yield of the quicklime are improved and the production cost of the sintered ore is reduced.
