摘要： PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by automatically unlocking of a pair of hydraulically driven rotary blades supported rotatably backward around perpendicular shafts when these blades cause bite locking of a large lump at the time of cutting off the blast furnace slag adhered and deposited in a spout while these rotary blades are moved along the spout. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic circuit between a hydraulic pump 15 and a hydraulic motor 7 for driving the rotary blades is provided with a relief valve 20, a pressure switch 21, a selector valve 22 for rotating the hydraulic pump forward and backward and a controller 23 for operating this selector valve 22 by receiving the signal of this pressure switch 21. The increase of the oil pressure in the circuit according to locking of the rotary blades is detected by the pressure switch 21 and is inputted to the controller 23. The controller 23 changes over the solenoid operated selector valve 22 to the direction where the rotary blades rotate backward. As a result, the slag bitten between the blades is discharged and the blades are unlocked. After this state is held for a several seconds, the solenoid operated selector valve 22 is reset to the position of the forward rotation.
