    • PURPOSE: To provide an anti-skid device capable of having the same function as that of a conventional anti-skid device having two actuators, by providing one actuator and a low-priced modulating valve of special construction in an anti- skid control.
      CONSTITUTION: An anti-skid device comprises an actuator 30 disposed in a hydraulic circuit (a) communicated with a rear brake mechanism 12 of a hydraulic circuit A of a first system and a modulating valve 40 disposed in a hydraulic circuit (b) communicated with a rear brake mechanism 15 of a hydrulic circuit B of a second system. The actuator 30 is arranged to control hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic circuit a
      1 , while the modulating value 40 comprises, in the housing 41 thereof, a balancing piston 42, a check valve 43 and a switching valve 44 which is so constructed that opens a bypass passage P
