摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent after-burning or the like by discriminating the presence of accidental fire according to the signal of an ignition coil in an ignition system and producing data to nullify the effect of injection upon judging the presence of the accidental fire irrespective of calculated data of the injection amount, so that the fuel injection may be cut off. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is controlled by means of a microcomputer, each output from an A/D converter unit 104 and number of revolution counter unit 102 connected to each of sensors 1-3, those of intake amount, water temperature and intake air temperature is first incorporated in CPU100 to calculate fuel injection amount and ignition timing and write them in a memory unit 105. Next, the stored data are read out to send the output to a digital output unit 106 when instruction signals are supplied from an interrupting unit 101. Then, it is judged whether or not signals representing normal ignition in a latch circuit 110 are supplied, and the data for nullify the effect of injection are transmitted to fuel injection it an accidental fire occurs in an ignition system and the latch input is absent.

A counter unit 106 for controlling ignition timing containing a register computes actual time and point of time corresponding to time conducting to an ignition coil and a point of time interrupting conduction, which are computed by means of the micro-processor unit 100, and controls ignition timing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation, by providing such an arrangement that the next rotational speed interuption time is calculated in accordance with the previous and present rotational speed interruption times, and the rotational speed interruption is inhibited until the next interruption time from the time when the drive signal is delivered from a device which becomes an electrical noise source. CONSTITUTION:An output signal from a rotational speed sensor 26 is shaped into a rectangular pulse signal. An electronic control device 31 which controls the engine with the use of the shaped pulse signal as a rotational signal, receives at first the present rotational speed interruption time t1 upon processing of rotational speed signal interruption. Then, the previous rotational speed interruption time t0 is red out from an RAM, and a limit time t2 before which no next rotational speed interruption is expected to occure, is calculated and memorized. Then, judgement is made to detemine whether the present time (t) is before the next time t2 or not upon driving of an ignition device 32 which is supposed to generate strong noise such as, for example, ignition signal noise, and if it is before the t2, the rotational speed interruption is masked to inhibit the delivering of noise to a CPU.

A distance between each sensor 31, 33 and the signal processing circuit 1B is very small as compared with the distance between the signal processing circuit 1B and the control circuit 39. In this way, positions of a spill ring and a timer piston are correctly detected by decreasing the possibility of a noise overlapping on a high frequency signal from the sensors 31, 33.

In a case where the opening degree of the throttle valve varies from a value less than the first predetermined opening degree to a value more than the second predetermined value, if an input from at least one of first and second members 70 and 71 of a slot sensor 34 varied twice or less from ''1'' to ''0'', the output of an AND circuit 84 is ''0''. Hence, the output of the AND circuit 89 when the input from a power contact 75 varies from ''1'' to ''0'', the output of the AND circuit 89 becomes ''1'', and an abnormality detection is issued.

The computer 50 receives signals from a speed sensor 51, throttle valve sensor 52, shift position sensor 53 and clutch sensor 54, sets an optimum speed control diagram for each stage of the manual change gear until a gear change is done by the auxiliary device after shifting the speed in accordance with the monitored values, and afterwards sets the said diagram for each stage of the manual change gear.

Firstly, the actual amount of air Q drawn and rpm N when EGR is in process are detected. Secondly, the intake maninfold pressure PBO and optimum ignition advance angle alphao when where is no EGR are calculated based on the prdetermined formulas PBO=f(Q,N) and alphao=g(Q,N), respectively. Then, after detecting the manifold pressure pB,rate of EGR is calculated by using the formula X=(PB-PBO)/PB.Finally, the optimum ignition advance angle alpha is calculated based on the formula alpha=alphao+KX.

In case of YES, the program proceeds to a step 6 and a second voltage V2 is imposed on the element of an oxygen sensor. Said second voltage V2 is higher than a first voltage V1 determined at the time of idling operation of the engine. By employing such an arrangement, frequent switching of the voltage Vs imposed on the element of the oxygen sensor is avoided at the time of shifting the mode of engine operation from loaded operation to decelerating operation. Therefore, it is enabled to increase the durability of the oxygen sensor.

CONSTITUTION:At a step 2, judgement is made whether the voltage Vi of a power source for supplying electric current to an electric heater is lower than a first reference valve V1 or not. Further, in case that judgement is made at a step 5 that the count value C of a counter is greater than a set value C set, the program proceeds to a step 6. At the step 6, the mode of air-fuel ratio control is switched to the open-loop control. By employing such a method, it is enabled to minimize degradation of the specific fuel consumption of the engine due to open- loop control of the air-fuel ratio and to obtain an excellent engine performance.
