    • PURPOSE:To reduce pressure hunting without deteriorating an acceleration character by providing a check valve type regulating valve, having a function of throttling a high pressure from a high pressure introducing passage, in a signal pressure passage for guiding the high pressure to a control pressure chamber through the high pressure introducing passage. CONSTITUTION:A check valve type regulating valve, having a function of throttling a high pressure supplied from a high pressure introducing passage 96, is provided in a signal pressure passage 98 for guiding the high pressure to a control pressure chamber 200, formed in the back surface of a spool 30, through the high pressure introducing passage 96. By this constitution, in the case of introducing the high pressure to the control pressure chamber 200, formed in the back surface of the spool 30, through the high pressure introducing passage 96, a flow amount can be limited by throttling action of the check valve type regulating valve with reduction made possible of pressure hunting. Further in the case of transfer to a low displacement, because no throttling action is performed by the check valve type regulating valve, the transfer is promptly performed to the low displacement without deteriorating an acceleration character.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an expansion valve capable of eliminating various kinds of operation failures, such as noise by means of a new system. CONSTITUTION:There is formed a liquid refrigerant passage 7 communicating with a capacitor 2 in an expansion valve main body 6 while there is formed a mist-like refrigerant passage 8 communicating with an evaporator 5 therein. Both passages 7 and 8 communicate with a communication passage 9 which extends in a straight line. A rod hole 21 is formed in such a fashion that it may penetrate this communication passage 9. An actuating rod 24 is laid out in such a fashion that it may slide in the rod hole 21 and moves, responding to the temperature of refrigerant at the outlet of the evaporator 5. A communication hole 29 is formed on the actuating rod 24. The opening area in the communication passage 9 may vary with the movement of the actuating rod 24 so that the refrigerant from the liquid refrigerant passage 7 to the mist-like refrigerant passage 8 may be subjected to adiabatic expansion.

    • PURPOSE:To easily form a throttled part, by forming an introducing passage of the delivery pressure, guided to a spool back surface, by the first passage, drilled in a housing, and the second passage, formed by cutting a gasket, and reducing a connection area of the both passages. CONSTITUTION:The first passage 43, penetrating through a liner 10 and a side plate 12 from a delivery port 111 as an introducing passage of the delivery pressure guided to a back surface of a spool (not shown in the drawing), is drilled and opened to an adapted surface of the side plate 12 to a gasket 30. While the gasket 30, forming notches in two parts, forms the second passages 44-1, 44-2 between mutually opposed surfaces of the side plate 12 and a side plate 15. And if a communication area in a path L, shown in the drawing, in a connection part between the first passage 43 and the second passage 44, is regulated by adjusting a notch length of the gasket 30, a desired throttled part is formed. In this way, starting torque can be reduced by enabling the delivery pressure to be gradually introduced to the back surface of the spool.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the restart of a compressor to be operated easily by causing the control pressure chamber for a spool type valve which performs the opening and closing of a by-pass hole to be interconnected to the suction chamber for the valve when an electromagnetic clutch provided on a drive shaft is electrified. CONSTITUTION:A spool type valve 102, which performs the opening and closing of a by-pass hole 103, is energized by the action of a spring 109 in the direction of its normally opened state, and a control pressure chamber 101 thereof is connected by means of a high-pressure introduction port 132 to the high-pressure side of a compression chamber 111, and also connected by means of a control valve 120 and a pressure regulating passage 131 to a suction chamber 108. The control valve 120 is caused to open and close through a controlling means 110 so as to perform a time-proportional control over the pressure within a pilot pressure chamber 101. On the other hand, when an electromagnetic clutch, which is attached to the drive shaft of a compressor, is once disengaged before it is electrified again and engaged, the control valve 120 is automatically held in its valve-opened state so that the spool type valve 102 opens the by-pass hole 103 to the full. Hereby, even if the restart of the compressor is performed under a condition where the stopping time is short, the restart of the compressor can be performed certainly under a low load.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the throttling effect of a passage for the discharge pressure to be applied on the spool of a spool valve for opening or closing by-pass holes by leading the discharge pressure through a minute space between a rotor and a side plate.
      CONSTITUTION: Into the pilot pressure lead-in part of the spool of a spool valve for opening or closing by-pass holes 122W124, pressure in a working chamber, which is in the process of being discharged, is led through an electro-magnetic valve 49. Since this pressure from the working chamber is conducted through a lead-in passage 45 into a minute speed between a rotor 20 and a side plate 12, its passage resistance is quite high. Therefore, the responsibility of the spool valve can be appropriately adjusted, and accurate capacity control becomes possible.
