摘要： PURPOSE:To enable an electromagnet possessing a coil structure where a tape conductor is wound to keep uniform magnetic field distribution in an axial direction by a method wherein adjacent tape conductors are wound partially overlapping and deviating from each other in the axial direction of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A tape conductor is wound around an axis making each turn of tape conductor partially overlap and deviate from its preceding turn of tape conductor in the axial direction. It is not necessary that each turn of tape conductor deviates from its preceding turn in the same direction from the axis toward its periphery, and each turn may deviates from its preceding turn either upward or downward. Or, each turn of conductor tape may not deviate from its preceding turn partially. When coils of the same deviation structure are laminated, the coils are laminated in the axial direction partially overlapping each other in a top view, and the conductive paths of the laminated coils are connected in series. A tape conductor wherein the ratio of width to thickness is 100:1 or above is used. By this setup, a magnetic field uniform in a wide range in an axial direction can be generated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To lessen an oxide superconducting pancake coil in current loss by a method wherein the oxide superconducting pancake coils are electrically connected together through the intermediary of a bobbin which is large enough in conductive cross-sectional area and excellent in electrical conductivity. CONSTITUTION:Tape wires 1 and 2 both of oxide superconductor compounded with metal base are wound on a tubular conductive bobbin 3 overlapping each other. The tape wires 1 and 2 are wound in opposite directions respectively. The tape wires 1 and 2 are electrically connected to the bobbin 3 by connections 4 and 5, a current is made to flow in the tape wire 1 from outside, pass through the tape wire 2 from the connection 5 via the connection 4 and the bobbin 3, and flow out of the tape wire 2 from outside. By this setup, even if a tape- shaped fragile wire is used, superconducting coils which are small in current loss and easily connected together can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily enhance the critical current characteristics of an oxide superconductor contg. Bi as a constituent element, the applicability in a high magnetic field, the uniform temp. property, yield, etc., by heat-treating the oxide superconductor in a Bi-contg. atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Calcined powder of an oxide superconductor having a compsn. represented by Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2Ox (where (x) is the amt. of oxygen) is mixed with a binder, etc., and molded to obtain thick filmlike molded body such as a thick film having 2212 phase as the crystal phase. This molded body is superposed on silver foil as a substrate and the resulting laminated thick film is put on an alumina holder fixed on an alumina substrate. A powdery Al2O3-Bi2O3 mixture is laid on the alumina substrate so that it does not come in contact with the laminated thick film and they are covered with an alumina crucible and put in an electric furnace, where the laminated thick film is heated to 885-920 deg.C at about 300 deg.C/hr heating rate, slowly cooled to about 870 deg.C at about 10 deg.C/hr cooling rate and further cooled to room temp. at about 600 deg.C/hr cooling rate to produce an oxide superconductor.

CONSTITUTION:Silver or the like is made to be a supporting body. A strip- shaped body 2 having the layer comprising oxide-based superconducting powder dispersed in organic binding medium is wound on at least one surface of the supporting body 1 so as to overlap on a neighboring insulator 3. Thus, a coil is formed. A piece of wire, which is formed so as to generate superconductivity by heat treatment, is wound so as to form an appropriate gap in the radius direction, and the coil is formed. The coil undergoes heat treatment. After the heat treatment, the insulator 3 is inserted. Thus, the coil, wherein the wire and the insulator 3 are neighboring to each other in the radial direction, is formed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a structure oriented along a metal foil by combining a thick film material prepared by a doctor blade method, etc., with a metal foil and maintaining the resulting composite in a partly melting condition. CONSTITUTION:A calcined powder of an oxide superconductor is mixed with a polyvinyl-based binder, a plasticizer, and a dispersing agent, the mixture is molded by a doctor blade method to give a thick film-like molded body 1, the thick film is cut, and then the cut film is laminated on a cut silver foil 2. The resulting bilayered thick film 1, 2 is processed for removing soot and heat-treated successively. That is, the thick film-like molded body 1 and the metal foil 2 are kept at a temperature where the oxide superconductor powder is partly melted. In this method, orientation of oxide superconductor crystal particles and binding the particles are accelerated and an oxide superconductor tape material with high critical current density is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform mechanical, electrical junction of oxide superconductor tapes by laminating a primarily sintered oxide superconductor tape and a non-superconductor tape having notches alternately and performing secondary sintering after compression of a resultant laminate. CONSTITUTION:Primarily sintered compacts 21 of each tape like oxide superconductor and non-superconductor tapes 22 which are equipped with notches 23 and are made of silver, gold, and platinum and the like are laminated alternately. In such a case, oxide superconductors 21 which come into contact with both faces of each non- superconductor tape 22 form cavities at the notches 23 and are facing each other. When this laminate is compressed, primarily sintered compacts 31 become refined and their preciseness reduces thickness of each sintered compact and then, cavities which are found in the notches disappear. The primarily sintered compacts 31 located at upper and lower non-superconductor tapes 32 are pressed at these parts 33. Further, the compression makes crystal perform orientation to improve superconducting characteristics. Moreover, when secondary sintering is performed, the degree of coupling between crystal particles is improved. Junction which is made between oxide superconductor tapes and is superior in electrical, mechanical systems is thus obtained.

The delimed molded body is preferably pressed with a roll press, etc., before the sintering. By carrying out the pressing and sintering plural times, the density is further increased, Jc is improved and Jc deterioration initiating strain due to bending stress is relieved.
