      SOLUTION: On the electric connector device, both connectors are fitted into each other by intrusion of a plug part 14 of one connector 10 into a receptacle part 33 of the other connector 30. A positive lock piece 17 for inertia locking is arranged on the plug part 14 of one of the connector 10 in a fitting-in direction, and an engaging part 39 with which a locking part 20 of the positive lock piece 17 engages by restoring after runing over it is arranged on a receptacle part 33 of the other connector 30. The plug part 14 intruded into the receptacle part 33 is locked by the engagement of the locking part 20 and the engaging part 39. The positive lock piece 17 is arranged so as to face from a front end side toward a back end side in a fitting-in direction of oner of the connector 10, and the positive lock piece is formed in a length enough to be completely housed in the receptacle part 33 at an instant wherein the locking part 20 starts running over the engaging part 39 of the receptacle part 33.
