    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the degree of verticality of a PC hollow pile, which enables the degree of verticality of the PC hollow pile to be controlled by erecting the PC hollow pile with high degree of accuracy in a planned position, while keeping the degree of the verticality of the PC hollow pile within a range of a specified value.
      SOLUTION: In this method for controlling the degree of the verticality of the PC hollow pile, when an upper end of the PC hollow pile 2 is fixed by supporting means 14 and 18 which are provided on the earth's surface so that the hollow pile can be erected in a suspended state in an excavated ditch 4, one end of a measurement string 30 is fixedly attached to a locking rod 12, which is provided in the lower part of the PC hollow pile through its axial core part, in such a manner as to be pre-positioned in its axial core part, and the other end thereof is precedently led out upward from the upper end. After the erection of the PC hollow pile, a tower-shaped measurement platform 34 is installed above the PC hollow pile; the other end of the measurement string is fixedly attached to the measurement platform and provided in a stretched state; and the fixedly attached position of the end on the side of the measurement platform is adjusted so that the measurement string can be set vertical while collimation is performed from two directions by a transit 36. After the completion of positioning, a displacement between the axial core position of the upper end of the PC hollow pile and the measurement string is measured, and the degree of the verticality is controlled by correcting the fixed position of the upper end of the PC hollow pile so that the displacement can fall within the range of the specific value.
